'Moon' is a nostalgic tribute to science fiction movies of the 70s. Two unworldly entities, explore the lunar landscape discovering enigmatic structures,
monumental machinery and inexplicable phenomena.
The artwork is a combination of live interactive and pre-recorded video with improvised music, utilizing synthesizers and a games engine. The performers respond to both the audio and video within a simulation using physical controllers.
The soundtrack evokes a sense of mystery and intrigue. Distortions and pulsing modulations add to the unsettling atmosphere. Auric and ethereal qualities bleed out contrasting with brutalist architectural forms. It is a cosmic journey revealing archetypes of opposites, confounding human history where once the lunar inhabitants worshiped the Earth.
