I remember I got into them after seeing a picture of them in a magazine in ca. 2009. They were my favorite band for a few years and helped me cope with many problems I had back then. After not listening to Jrock for a few years, I got back into it last year and I am so glad I am back. This music means so much to me.
When I was younger SuG was my favourite band. I just loved their music, the positive energy and of course Yuji ^^" This video was a real trip on the memory lane. Are they still active or disbanded at some point? Is there anyone who knows what's up with them?
Unfortunately, they all went separate ways. They took a break first... came back made a song and then broke up permanently... That pattern to me sounds like the dynamic between the group wasn't working out anymore
I’m a little bit late but right now I believe they are working in their solo careers. I mean each one on their own, not in a band anymore. Takeru is now known as sleepyhead I believe and the other members are working as support in other bands.

I'm so glad this was recommended to me! I became a fan circa 2010 so I don't know much from before then. It's amazing how their music has evolved but still retains their SuG 'sound'/uniqueness. Love it.
I realize when you search Sug there really are not many of them on UA-cam. This really makes me sad and heartbroken. They prob disband or move on to bigger things. I hope they are doing great and happy or at least content where ever they are.
