The aesthetics of the blacked out instruments is just so killer. Simultaneously menacing and beautiful. Cult of Luna is such a powerhouse. I can’t wait to see them live.
Eternal Kingdom is one of the best albums I've ever heard. I love the heaviness that comes from the slight overdriven guitar and sludgy bass tone mix. One of my favorite bands by far.

They get more diversity. One example is in the beginning where they have this very static beat. The drummer goes on the snare and the percussionist goes on the tom instead. If one drummer would alternate between the two it would be as static anymore. It would be too fast and feel rushed. With tom and snare in the static manor sounds awesome.
