the 50/50 standard banner selector happens after 260 pulls when u already select the girl u want btw. you can choose either a t-doll or a weapon for the 50/50. there 's also a selector banner for limited but that comes during anniversary(half a year and year) which u can select limiteds that have run before. So just pull on the standard banner for now

I checked the CN tier list and although people said this game is pull generous. It doesn't appear it like that too me. (well now with all the pull stuff from launch, but you know what i mean ). And with some adjustments ( Peritya wants klukay for example ) most of the standard banner characters are still holding out good. I currently pulled Peritya, Qionjiu and a mezzaluna shotgun in 72/260 pulls as of yet, and veplay is given for free. So seeing as my conclusion was also too focus my pulls on the standard banner and focus my limited banner pulls right now for suomi and then save up for Klukay, i see this news as an absolute life changing win. I will definitely be saving my pulls ;)
Yeah….this really only applies to people who already have a good start. If you don’t have QJ, Tololo, QJ’s weapon, or Tololo’s weapon, then I would highly recommend continue pulling in the standard banner for at least 3/4 things I listed. oh for sure. If you did not reroll and got a bad start I would get to the selector first. QJs weapon is actually worth it from the shop though sacrificing the 30 limited pulls you could get with them.
Im 100 pulls way from getting it however there isnt much standard pulls to aquire as ive beaten almost everything however unless I spend gems which I wont do im hoping they can give us more standard pulls
Do we have an idea what the shop selection will change too? I assumed that it would change because of the apparent timer shown on the weapon. I was lucky enough to hit a copy of QJ, so maxxing her would be great, but I'd love to have her weapon too.
the shop selector will not change the weapons sadly. its like honkai star rail shop.but other things will be added. do save the currency on that shop because you can change it for pulls (unlimited)

All I got from standard is a Vepley weapon (full pity). I agree with you that 30 limited pulls is better, but Im tempted to get that golden Melody for my Qiongjiu!
fyi, we only got 26 tickets for standard banner per month after clearing everything.... so from 2 month(1st month you clear everything for extra tickets) to annivesary it gives exactly 260 ish,
To save all the standard pulls sure isn't for everybody. But the thought is really interesting for players who are by luck (as myself) satisfied with their current roster. We got and will get a ton of limited pulls (including cube currency) and there will be lost 50/50. Together with some free characters and even strong SR there is 100% enough for a good team of 4 to clear the content. According to tier lists Sharkry (CN A) and Ksenia (CN A) and even Groza (CN B) are future proof and more than usable. I myself benched my c1 peritiya because sharkry is just that strong. And you wont have enough ressources to get more than 4-5 to maxlvl atm anyway. So to sum this up, I will pull the heck out of the stong limited banners to come. But i will stop spending on standard because with 300+ pulls with a selector, it is much better to focus to get my best standard units to max. Otherwise the first hitting that mark will be Vepley ~.~ So thanks Zelarinth for the vid. Maybe try to get more proof in the future to validate your point. But for me it's fine to wait a bit.

I think some creators are saying to save for dupes for her which for anyone who is not a spender should not do. You are quite fine pulling on the limited banner for units you want. Also on the standard banner its more for min maxing specific standard units. For most its completely unnecessary.

You didnt think this through, standard banner already has 260 hard pity of your choice weapon or character Not to mention you have to pull standard either way to get more character AND their weapons (SR or SSR), this is a stat-check game, so you need big number goes up, to do that, you must roll the gacha
I did. I will be getting those on the limited banner pulls. The 260 selector will still be available once the standard banner becomes a rate up banner, you just now instead can target a specific unit to pull at a 50% chance rather than it being random. It more of a long term strategy and going to be the easiest way to max dupe out a standard unit.

man cmon, u need some cash valute to buy out monthly pulls from shop and actually im full copium for the standart banner, for 130 pulls there: zero chars and 3 leg weapons i currently dont need if i didint rerolled for suomi in ten pull, and got tololo from beginners id be in real deep sit right now
I would expect to be able to get enough value from the limited banner to be able to buy out the shop. I know I have already just from my pulling like 3 months worth but I did go for Suomi V1. I also did do some pulls on the standard initially with my rerolls.

Got Tololo, Qiongjiu, Vepley and a SSR gun from standard. I have about 130 pulls on it. I’ve already gotten a dupe for every character mentioned. I’ll probably hold off on pulling then since I want to fill out the roster instead of maxing out a character first. I couldn’t complete the dispatch last tier of 25 for the week. I know I can get an SSR from there. Shame too because I’ve gotten very lucky. Bruh I just wasted the currency for a Qiongjiu weapon. 💀 oh well. Time to save once again.

well already off to a good start with her. No you should not. I would go to the 260 in your case and get QJ and then save.
Go to 260 and get another Mosin. Moist Nugget is life!
The biggest problem is if you dont pull on standard and we get bad banners you will not have enough points for the shop ticket.
did not think of that but generally after a patch or two I am very flush with currency for those for a bit. But I only get the pulls from that shop.

Golden Melody is actually worth it because A/Rs are so prevalent and its good on most of them.
I think tololos weapon is good too 25% flat Crit dmg it made my v2 tololo even stronger
