you may have already heard from another source but even Mr. Klassen doesn't know what he drew for that character, all ha does in some of his interviews is refer to it as a armadillo mole creature.

I am sharing this with preschool children as the dialogue it generates is always surprising. Is the character on the 7th page an armadillo?
