I have to admit…I was wrong!!! I let it sit a few months until this summer. As soon as it was 65 and up, and it had macerated? Holy moly !! It’s sexy! I still think too much ( so I bought it from Jomashop for like 120) but yes I’m glad it’s in my collection now! This is the first one I was soo mad about and now I love it lol
She is gorgeous and such an interesting addition to my collection! Such an awesome balance between cool/fresh with the lavender and ginger and warm/sweet with the vanilla/cocoa. You don’t know which one you’ll get throughout the day but either way it’s all so well blended between the two.. you can’t go wrong! I can’t wait to get a big set for Xmas.
I only bought the 1oz but DAMNNNN I really should have at least bought the 1.6oz because your right, this scent SLAPPPPS Santa!! I get so many compliments! I went to Sephora today and sprayed it on the test strip (not myself because I have Valentino Voce Viva on) I HATED IT and was disappointed ☹️ I kept the test strip and by the time I walked around and finished shopping I was floored how the scent changed. I walked out with a bottle🤷🏽♀️ this was such a wonderful surprise after the scent set in. I have no doubt I’ll love it on skin as well! The only other Burberry I’m absolutely obsessed with is the Burberry Her Elixir….that one is top tier IMO! Great review❤

Amazing review ❤️ I have to say this one was not love at first sniff for me, just like your experience. Lavender is tricky, and upon first spray felt soapy and a little harsh. But girl when I got home and smelled my skin 30 min later, those rich vanilla notes had developed and man, I was hooked! 😂 I now wear it almost everyday and totally understand the hype. It has an almost addicting quality. I layer with Moroccan oil body butter and for me it works in Spring. Thanks again for the great review ☺️

This smells really good to me. It almost reminds me of Gentle Fluidity Gold in the sense of wearability. It’s just an easy fragrance to put on. I’m definitely picking up a bottle with my Ulta points.

I love the bottle and that's where it stops for me. 😂 I had a travel size that I ran through it's just okay. I love vanilla, but it's not really giving! It smells like something I have in my collection, either Vanilla 28 or Billie Eilish #1 or something. It's a No for me! Maybe I'll revisit in the winter.

I just ordered it yesterday. I got the the 30ml and 10ml travel spray gift set from Sephora. I was able to grab a $100 rewards promo. I’m not sure if a lot of people know about these but on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 o’clock central you can trade in 2500 points for a $100 reward. I believe they go fast and they only give out a certain amount but I was able to get one yesterday so I got the gift set at completely no cost.

I do not smell a bit of lavender in this one….smelling that citrusy and ginger at first spray. Then it goes vanilla. It’s so great on the skin after it settles on there for a while. I’m a fan. My husband likes it- he’s the vanilla lover.
I tested in store on skin and picked up a travel spray after. It doesn’t register the same way on the tester strip just like you said!!! Burberry said “WE OUTSIDE” 🤣🤣

Burberry is my favorite designer house. I still use Elixir like crazy. Ill be getting a dull size bottle of this one. To me, this is what Vanilla 28 should have been. '28 is nice but its smoky, boozy, woody and vsnilla extract like. Goddess is a true beautiful vamilla.
So, I tried it today. Nice scent, very vanilla forward and just as you described but it’s a no for me. ON ME… it was giving mature. Dry down was better but then that was straight vanilla with no lavender and I have about 4 vanilla perfumes so for me, a 5th isn’t necessary. You always look beautiful, poised, and polished❤
Here bc im late to the party. I just bought some yesterday. I was testing at ulta bc its time for new fragrances at this time. Baby nothing basic or similar about this smell. Ppl dont ever truly know distinctive notes. Fire is all I have to say.
I haven't tried this 1 yet! But my fave atm is Blanche Bet! Latonic and powdery with that cacoa coming through so beautifully, it really lasts! I love this so i am interested to smell this 1.
It smelled amazing on the paper so I grabbed it quick! Lol I tried it on my skin when I got home and it was very bold with just one spray but about an hour later it almost completely dissipated. It sat VERY close to the skin. I get the ginger and cacao more than anything, so the vanilla doesn’t really stand out to me.
I fell in in love with this fragrance when I went to smell it in the store. Here in Australia the 30ml is $130 😢so so so expensive for 30ml. Anyways I was searching perfume on a selling app. Someone was selling it for $90 including shipping. I couldn’t believe my luck definitely don’t buy this full retail price it’s gorgeous but $130?!?
The dry down reminds me of a fainter By the Fireplace by Replica. I really like it but the longevity is garbage for the cost. It’s a skin scent. Tried it twice in Sephora. Sprayed like 20 times both times and by the time I left the mall it was barely there. I have to pass…

YsL is yummy, gourmand vanilla without the lavender, but less coffee than the original Black Opium. Goddess is less dense, more aromatic. Like said...signature scent worthy. Both are beautiful! I got them both! 😅
@@Awthentik1 I just left Ulta…I bought Goddess. Ysl is similar to Eilish and Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere to me and I have both. Goddess is brighter for sure and a year round scent. Thanks for your feedback
They smell different and give different moods to me. Le Parfum is sexier, thicker, and more fall due to the honey and saffron. Goddess is a lighter, easy wearing, signature scent vanilla and light lavender.
The designer prices are ridiculously more expensive you can get niche fragrances for these prices now. i absolutely hate lavender but mon guerlain was too much lavender not enough vanilla if this one turns more gourmand it may be worth getting a sample at my store but i wont blind buy or fall for internet hypes anymore
I tested her out on my skin at Ulta and was like yes, full bottle worthy but I was NOT paying those prices lol so I headed over to Mercari to my trusted guy and got 2 of the 3 oz bottles for $150. And before you ask lol yes they are 100 % authentic and batch number certified lol

Yes it's now a hyped fragrance but it is in stock at Ulta and Macys.

Tried it in Sephora today. It didn’t wow me. I think the lavender was too much for me. I ended up repurchasing Replica Jazz Club.

I'm so jealous of the people this projects and lasts on, I love the scent so much but it disappears to quick from my skin and doesn't last on my hair and clothes either ☹ And it's so expensive
Give it some time. Being that it is a vanilla based fragrance, they always get stronger over time. :-)
Okay. I am not alone. I have left it in the box and buried it. Hopefully it will be ready when I am back outside. Now the Valentino Donna Born in Roma, Pink. I got it in this week, sprayed it, wasn't impressed and put it away. I checked it this morning and Wow, a powerhouse. I boxed it and put it away.
@@TheSantaMaria1this is so true! when i tried the tester at sephora it was almost empty and it was so strong but the one i just bought literally didn’t last more than one hour. i decided to leave the cap off and put it in my dresser so it can macerate and get stronger over time

Ulta has been out of control with these testers. None for Burberry Goddess, Cloud Pink or Viva La Juicy Sucre at my local store. No smell, no buy

Yes girl I have it! I wore it to church to see what it was giving. Someone hugged me and stayed there for a few extra seconds while wearing Goddess. I said.. I don’t need to wear this to church😂
On first sniff, I smelled Alien Goddess. But the dry down sends them in two different directions.

In your opinion, How does this compare to YSL Le Parfum? Do you need both?
YsL is yummy, gourmand vanilla without the lavender, but less coffee than the original Black Opium. Goddess is less dense, more aromatic. Like said...signature scent worthy. Both are beautiful! I got them both! 😅
@@Awthentik1 I just left Ulta…I bought Goddess. Ysl is similar to Eilish and Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere to me and I have both. Goddess is brighter for sure and a year round scent. Thanks for your feedback
They smell different and give different moods to me. Le Parfum is sexier, thicker, and more fall due to the honey and saffron. Goddess is a lighter, easy wearing, signature scent vanilla and light lavender.
I need to try one on each arm to compare.

The designer prices are ridiculously more expensive you can get niche fragrances for these prices now. i absolutely hate lavender but mon guerlain was too much lavender not enough vanilla if this one turns more gourmand it may be worth getting a sample at my store but i wont blind buy or fall for internet hypes anymore

I tested her out on my skin at Ulta and was like yes, full bottle worthy but I was NOT paying those prices lol so I headed over to Mercari to my trusted guy and got 2 of the 3 oz bottles for $150. And before you ask lol yes they are 100 % authentic and batch number certified lol
