Continuous Line Drawing demonstration

- Three things that need to be stated with this video:
1. I go too fast here. As a beginner, take your time and really observe. Draw your lines a little more slowly when you are just starting.
2. The camera is higher than my eye level, thus, you have a different view of the object than I do. I don't see quite as much of the inside of the object as the viewer does.
3. The bowl to the right of the objects I'm drawing is filled with erasers. Kneaded erasers tend to look like chewed up gum, lol.
I like both, especially the first one. This is exactly what I have wanted; to see the entire drawing. Thank you, most helpful.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this video. It's kind of ironic but even though you can't pick up you're marker, it seems to give you more freedom or spontaneity that you wouldn't have otherwise. I enjoy the final outcome. It's very free-flowing, kind of playful.
One of my favorite techniques. Glad you enjoyed it!
Liked 12. WOW amazing drawing tutorial so great.. informatice videos.. lovefnit.. my support here joined you.
Thank you!
As an anyltical person I first hate this technique, because I missed some construction stuff and making lines in one shot. But the more I am drawing (as hobby) and want to get more loose this technique comes just right. In quarantine I was bored and try it again. I try half bilnd half looking to paper and sometimes hand follows from allone my eye movement. I think I will use this technique in future more as an pre-drawing where I am using the pen more as an clay to build up the base. Than use this base for different other cleaner or sketchy styles or use it only as warmup, who knows -)
Thanks for coming back and trying it again. It is one of my favorites, which is ironic because my paintings and drawings are so tightly done. I have recently posted another continuous line drawing video which I think is better than this one. If you really want to loosen up, try the blind contour video as well, lol. Thanks for viewing!!
Good video. I will definitely try this. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! It is one of my favorite drawing techniques. Not much pressure to make it perfect.
