I really appreciate these. I was playing a few years ago and just went with cheese and timings without ever having a real solid macro or game knowledge in general. Getting back into it recently I've been working a lot more on macro and having guides that put it so simply rather than thoughtlessly trying build orders is worlds apart. Hell, a better macro focus helped me finish all the campaign achievements, going from infuriating to easy (though some were still a bit of a pain, or cheesed)
Never thought to comment. And totally late. But man your guides are impenetrable for most games. Alot of times i see myself getting ahead of myself and need to come back to the basics. Best guide ive ever seen. Cudos sir.
I think vibe was on autopilot for the first game, doesn't look at the replay, hits his max out 3 minutes early, and no real explanation on anything, at one point he builds a bunch of barracks and starports and doesn't even address it the games after the first one are better

Did SC2 experience a jump in popularity within the past two to three years? Last time I started playing ranked ladder (bronze/silver) in like 2020, I felt like every game I was getting totally obliterated by diamond/master smurfs or something. The bronze players he is playing are really bad compared to the players I was playing...
When you're at bronze level, i think most players would feel overwhelmed when the opponent takes a real advantage, which can feel like you're being outplayed. Reality is, the vast majority of players aren't smurfs, and you'll win 50/50 after a few games (like ten games i would bet).
Low MMR players are so toxic, floating their buildings around instead of just saying "gg" and moving on with life. Hard stuck bronze b/c you'd rather grief than watch your replays and improve.
@@CB-vx9to exactly this. Gas units are more expensive in time, but are better per supply. So maxed tier3 army is better than maxed tier1 army (in general).

What’s the worst that could happen? And elite ai would be really tough for someone with no 1v1 experience. Give it a go if you haven’t bro, it’s really fun. And everyone loses about half their games, it’s how the matchmaking system works. No reason to be ashamed or afraid of losing

mate, once I went ranked (yesterday) and get messed up by rush battlecruisers 3 times in a row, you better know I scout AT LEAST to see if they are taking a second expansion (at 3:30 mins roughly) as the signal to start anti-air.
I don't think I can point a brand new player to this. The Zerg b2gm seemed more thorough. Like every single thing you did was commented on. I suppose this is meant for after a very basic understanding of the start of game order of operations?
As a new player I found it very confusing. Didn’t know what he was doing half the time, later on into the video I started to understand more but still more detailed playing would be nice. Do you have any suggestions for terran pvp guides for beginners?
@@ahjfdashfdashgdf Watch PiG and take his written out build order to master the fundamentals and first 3 minutes of the game. He has B2GM. When you have the controls and base set up locked down I would switch to ViBE. The way he teaches a macro foundation and incrementally adds through B2GM is amazing.
Btw, anyone here got this ranking bug?, I recently finished my placement and got around 2.5k mmr but I got placed in Master league for unknown reason. And every time I win afterwards my mmr just go up by 2 points.

Yeah this is annoying. You need to select only the medivacs and right click your army. Then the medivacs will follow (as long as the unit you clicked on doesn’t die. If that happens the medivacs will hover over the corpse. ) bio armies do require babysitting a bit which is why vibe used to recommend not using bio until higher leagues
Hmmm, if I right-click the an army unit with the medivacs they will pickup that unit. What am I doing wrong ? After I make this work, does it also work if I shift-rightclick more units. So in case the first one dies, they go after the next one.
Its so weird vibe does everything much faster and introduces so many things already in bronze in terran but with protoss its like the fourth video before he even tells you to look at minimap sometimes its so weird
yeaaaaaaah there are no games, not even silver league, where beginners like me play, without enemy attack/action for all of 11 minutes. in fact, by minute 6 at the most you WILL have your first engagement. also, good luck building bases with zero protection for them.

Yep, system is broken for a while now but they are not fixing it. The whole SC2 team is not in Blizzard anymore :'(

Click the 'vacs, then A click on a unit in the army. Then they will follow that unit and not just pick it up and stay where the pickup happened.
