I'm pretty sure that disables searching for ALL drivers through windows update which means any new device won't automatically get a driver and you have to do out of your way to get it. Some devices only have drivers in Windows update(such as some HP printers) and not on manufacturer website so in that case this solution sucks. Luckily WU never replaced my drivers and you can make it do so through device manager only for the particular device
Yes that’s true but I have only found one device being affected by this which was an external sound card. Just make sure you get all your device drivers installed before doing this, but it does often fix the problem.
this is my first time seeing this issue in intel arc. i use a380 with ryzen 5 5600. i dont know how to check whethere windows 11 replacing my gpu driver. how do you check it?
@@harithmuaz enabled the setting in ddu, let it overwrite the driver, disable windows updates for 7 days, boot into safe mode (google how to) and then delete all windows updates by right clicking c drive in explorer, properties and clean up system files then select windows updates history or whatever it’s called and delete all then disable safe mode again and hope it’s fixed
