Cool video! A good peek into the alternative poster art scene, as well as Thought Bubble, consistently one the best Cons in the UK.
Wow! Always wanted to have a collection of posters like that!
It's an art that is lost but like a treasure chest can be found.
Great work, Amelia.

WANT TO HELP US COMPETE PART TWO? We're currently in the process of filming a longer version of this short so any help would be greatly appreciated - www.gofundme.com/f/in-search-of-poster-art-a-documentary
If you like Norman Rockwell and styles similar to his, check out our Swedish counterpart Carl Larsson. A world famous top of the line illustrator/painter but much earlier, 1880s.
Who is the artist of the finding nemo poster at 10:08?
That would be Raid71! He is on all social media platforms but this is his website - www.raid71.com
@@AmeliaHendrickx Thanks so much! He has some awesome stuff and I am in aw of that finding nemo haha
@@illegalitalian9020 If you have Facebook, maybe join his private group. People might have a print they are willing to part with!
Fantastic work! Interesting and really well made. Loved hearing what inspired and influenced the artists.
P.S. check out "24x36: A Movie About Movie Posters"
how many of you film fans have actually brought a poster of any film made from 2000-2023 (now) ? the answer says it all.
👌👌👌👌
SEQUEL?
Who knows what the future holds!!
i think the movie poster biz will last. theres as much variety in the art styles, composition, and "feel" of an alt movie poster as there is in the entire movie industry.
