Maybe Rachel was suppoused to be the broadway star in glee, but i think Santana could be a great one, in a modern way. Rachel in a classic way and Santana in a modern way, even if West Side is a classic, but in the end for me Santana was the biggest star on glee because she always shined in every thing she did. RIP Naya Rivera, we will miss you

Ryan Murphy would write personal details into the script to make the actors uncomfortable, so this was probably at least partially inspired by that then 😬
Glee is truly one of the best shows with the most talented performers ever and it just breaks my heart knowing of all the drama and tragedy behind the scenes 😭
Even in a reunion we could never recreate this scene with the original actors again. I never thought that just a few years later so many people from this show would’ve passed away, and while still at the peak of their youth too. Let’s cherish every moment we have for the people we appreciate.
In the 1961 version, the only song I loved was America. This performance amazes me every time and this episode and song got me into the music. It is really hard to know which I like more, this version or Ariana Debose’s. But why compare. Three legendary women sang this song magnificently.
First they say Mr. Schu doesn’t know anything about choreography, and then like three episodes later he’s this fantastic choreographer? Pick a lane people! And what was with Jesse’s sudden turn on Rachel between “Dream On” and “Funk”? Where the heck did that come from? Honestly that show, it’s irresponsible.
Mr. Schu did not direct or choreograph this show. Majority of this was done by Artie, and he’s always wanted to dance so it isn’t hard to believe he studied up.

Like, the higher shadowhunter officials basically act all high and mighty and that they are better than downworlders just bc they don't have demon blood in them. “As long as you stay on your own side”.
