Lived in AR in early 20s , Was a class 5 student of KV Naharlagun ,A train called Arunachal express (Meterguage ) used to ply till Murkongselek via Harmati ,It took 14 hours sometimes ... Never did we ever imagine a shatabti to Naharlaun even in dreams .. so nostalgic for me ...

Thanks for bringing the remote parts of India into the spotlight;being born and brought up in Assam I would like to point out a few mistakes- it's Udalguri,not Udalgiri;Agthori not author,finally, a conundrum which many people are not aware of- how can Guwahati not be the capital of Assam when Dispur, the official capital, is inside the metropolitan area of guwahati Guwahati
