In order to fulfill the envoy's unreasonable request to "meet the moon spirit," Nekoneko hears the story of the past from a capable old lady at Ryokuseikan, a "moon spirit" who has been in the entertainment district for over 50 years. Based on the story and a fantastical painting that the envoy's grandfather had painted after returning to his country, Nekoneko visits the peach orchard in the harem where the moon spirit is said to have performed a dance. There, she happens to meet Shisui, who has come to catch insects, and while talking, Nekoneko comes up with a secret plan. Then, on the day of the banquet for the envoy, as the full moon rises, a beautiful moon spirit appears before the envoys.

I understand him, he can be childish and used to get what he wants but the guy crossdressed (something he is not fond of at all since his "masculinity" is a sensitive topic between him and MaoMao), learned a feminine dance, and then had to swim through the lake at night alone, Mao Mao nonchalant attitude makes it a "little annoying" too, because it seems that she doesn't care.
