I figured this song could’ve been about remembering to keep God at the center of our relationships. It even looked like her and the guy were sitting down reading scripture together. I feel like sometimes as Christians our relationship with Christ is all swell and dandy in our single season but then when we get into a relationship we might unintentionally put Christ on the back burner.

I like the song. Does it glorify God? Nope. Does it mean she’s less of a Christian? Nope. There are a lot of opinions and a lot of convictions under this video. Huge difference in the two. We all have to be careful of how we express the word of God either through ‘opinions” or convictions, but it all has to be done in the love of God. What is important is that those that are saved, truly converted in the heart believers, take a stand, be separated and come from amongst them....etc. If that means I come under attack, so be it. People can say things in a “interview” and be completely opposite of that. Even those who have explicit lyrics give praise to God at the the Grammy’s. SELAH! Yes! I agree. A non believer can hear this and think it’s about earthly love. But those that follow God know that the kind of love she’s talking about can’t be given by man alone. Like when she says He doesn’t need her, but she needs Him for everything. As people, our love for each other tends to be conditional and based on what we can gain from a relationship. THis song truly summarizes how I feel about the Lord and about my husband. The Lord gave me this revelation...When done according to the Lord's will, your spouse is the physical manifestation of His love here on earth in human form. Once you get that concept it will be easier as a wife to submit to your husband and for a husband to love his wife as Christ loved the church. When i write in my journal, I talk about love of husband or issues with situations on the horizontal relationships & then I just start talking to God for my vertical relationships. This song is true to form or the video anyway. Just like when I sing. I might sing a secular song but it always goes back to God & I start singing gospel or praying. The way this crosses over so easily, I love it. It seems to have a dual meaning which I think it's okay! I'm a Christian and a music teacher, I don't teach my students Gospel songs and it doesn't make me any less devoted to God. I teach them songs that touches on their emotions and teach them important life principles through musical instruction. It doesn't make me any less devoted to God.As far as I'm concerned, I'm still doing Kingdom work, helping my students to become better people with God's light through me. We all know the rest of her songs are very Christ-Centered. I wouldn't assume that she's straying a way from her faith. It's only one song out of many , that has a dual meaning: a relationship with God and a relationship with a significant other. I think it's a beautiful way to reach non-believers. We as Christians have romantic feelings for others, why can't we sing about it? If marriage is instituted by God, aren't also our feelings for the significant other that He has for us?

Me and my husband just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on March 13th . He has been living in a nursing home due to a stroke that he had back in 2007 that was our third year of marriage. That was extremely hard for me due to the circumstances I've had to live on my own renting rooms and people's homes . And living in rooming houses. But his family has tried to keep me away from him like I'm not even married to him like I'm nothing they wanted to keep me separated from him. But marriage is a 💯 and a 💯 thingv. Hes 20 years older than me But he he loves God and he treats me so beautiful like a man is supposed to according to the Bible he's so patient and gentle and loving to me I can't ask for any better. God give me one in a million billion. His family is still trying to keep me apart he's still in the nursing home but I am fighting to take him out and get power of attorney over him and we are looking for an apartment as we speak. His disability isn't going to stop me. And all things work for good for those who love Christ. Marriage is until death. So remember when you going to marriage it's a forever thing until Christ comes or if he calls one of you home whichever comes first. Whether you live together or something has to separated a sickness or whatever. But nothing can separate you . From the love of God . The foundation of marriage the Love of God . God needs to be at the center of. God is the head, when is the husband then is the wife .Amen . Glory to God . 🙏 ❤✝️✝️🙌🙌💞💞💞

For me, this song is a perfect display of our LOVE and Gods LOVE for His people. I remember when I was a child, my grandmother told me that “Jesus is my husband.” I was young so I didn’t know what she meant. As I got older and started to deal w/ different people and things that fought to take the place of my first love, I instantly understood what she meant. My grandmother loved the Lord in a intimate way, parallel to a marriage. Not a “sometimey” need to know situationship. Our relationship w/ God is just that, a real RELATIONSHIP.

If non believers can make music to encourage non believers in life and hard times or even music to celebrate the good times why cant christians make Christ centered music to encourage each other as well as celebrate Gods goodness in their life? Absolutely ridiculous to say “we can’t do that.” Last I checked, we can and are told to encourage each other through our actions and words. At the end of the day, it all brings glory to Christ. I just came back from an high school impact revival a few days ago. I mean i went to church and i knew who God was, but didn't build a relationship with him. But after that revival everything changed. I was always desperate to have an s/o to love me and take tine out for me, but now i realize the only person i need who can give me that and more is Jesus! Im taken by Jesus AMEN!! Im now building an relationship with him and making him my number one in everything. I am so in love with this song. I played it for myself my daughter my sister my aunt .... I feel like this about my family and I left it up to THEM to know the parts that reflect my love and appreciation for our communication. Sometimes we have certainty on who can make us feel better when we call. But we also need to feel the ability to speak and not feel like we have to be careful. Ugh I'm ugly...I need to be able to say that and hear my beauty speak. I heard this song once and didn't think of a boyfriend...I thought of God. I listen to it and I am reminded of my loved ones. The way this crosses over so easily, I love it. It seems to have a dual meaning which I think it's okay! I'm a Christian and a music teacher, I don't teach my students Gospel songs and it doesn't make me any less devoted to God. I teach them songs that touches on their emotions and teach them important life principles through musical instruction. It doesn't make me any less devoted to God.As far as I'm concerned, I'm still doing Kingdom work, helping my students to become better people with God's light through me. We all know the rest of her songs are very Christ-Centered. Perhaps someone who doesn't usually listen to Gospel music, will listen to this and then also stream her other songs and learn more about God through Koryn. I hear you. Perhaps people who are not familiar with Koryn,or with gospel music for that matter, will listen and like this song, stream her other songs and see how devoted to God she is. I wouldn't assume that she's straying a way from her faith. It's only one song out of many , that has a dual meaning: a relationship with God and a relationship with a significant other. I think it's a beautiful way to reach non-believers. We as Christians have romantic feelings for others, why can't we sing about it? If marriage is instituted by God, aren't also our feelings for the significant other that He has for us?

Me and my husband just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on March 13th . He has been living in a nursing home due to a stroke that he had back in 2007 that was our third year of marriage. That was extremely hard for me due to the circumstances I've had to live on my own renting rooms and people's homes . And living in rooming houses. But his family has tried to keep me away from him like I'm not even married to him like I'm nothing they wanted to keep me separated from him. But marriage is a 💯 and a 💯 thingv. Hes 20 years older than me
But he he loves God and he treats me so beautiful like a man is supposed to according to the Bible he's so patient and gentle and loving to me I can't ask for any better. God give me one in a million billion. His family is still trying to keep me apart he's still in the nursing home but I am fighting to take him out and get power of attorney over him and we are looking for an apartment as we speak. His disability isn't going to stop me. And all things work for good for those who love Christ. Marriage is until death. So remember when you going to marriage it's a forever thing until Christ comes or if he calls one of you home whichever comes first. Whether you live together or something has to separated a sickness or whatever. But nothing can separate you . From the love of God . The foundation of marriage the Love of God . We as Christians need to understand that there is worship music solely for the purpose of going before the Lord in worship and then there is music dedicated to encouraging christians in their walk with the Lord while praising God and reminding us of biblical truths. If non believers can make music to encourage non believers in life and hard times or even music to celebrate the good times why cant christians make Christ centered music to encourage each other as well as celebrate Gods goodness in their life? Absolutely ridiculous to say “we can’t do that.” Last I checked, we can and are told to encourage each other through our actions and words. At the end of the day, it all brings glory to Christ. I am so in love with this song. I played it for myself my daughter my sister my aunt .... When watching, it is evident that Koryn is placing her relationship with God above all else, even a boyfriend or husband. This is clear at the beginning and end of the video. For example, at the beginning of the video, Koryn enters the house alone, signifying that God is at the top of her life. This is furthered displayed at the end of the video, when Koryn leaves the house alone (without the significant other), showing that God is not only her beginning, but also her end. I find it interesting that many commenters are criticizing Koryn of mixed messaging, simply because she has included a man in the video. However, you, the commenters, are emphasising the male figure. In Koryn's video, she is most definitely singing about her relationship with God, revealing it as the most important, even when a boyfriend or husband is by her side.

The video didn't need the guy because it's like he is her god based on the lyrics, but Koryn is using this video to "hook" new secular fans who once they listen to her song "Pray" and the rest of the songs on her new "I Am" album will know she is spreading God's message through gospel. Matthew 10:32 is more important than crossover appeal, so look for Easter eggs in the video like the fact Koryn keeps looking upwards towards Heaven at the beginning of the video as she sings and the Cross on the piano.
