Did you know that this very aircraft, with the registration ES-NSF, has been soaring through the skies for almost three decades now? 🌟 It began its journey as HB-IZW with Crossair and later flew proudly under the banners of Swiss and even Darwin Airline. 🇨🇭✈️🇨🇭

It is an aicraft which was designed in the 1980s by the Swedish aerospace company Saab. Winglets were never added to the Saab 2000, unlike its predecessor, the Saab 340. However, the aircraft still managed to achieve very impressive fuel efficiency due to its advanced aerodynamic design.

@@matthiashaenni I used to work at that time (early 2003 / 2004) in Oerlikon and commuted over weekend. Had both Saab 2000 and Embraer RJ 145 in 1/2 row.. Skyrocketing.. I remember one ride, nice weather in ZRH / T-storm and nasty conditions in Germany.. . rock n roll some people were afraid.. the Saab made the job. The time is over now. Now home office.. compliance, encryption, audit. Crossair was a fine carrier. (Lufthansa group incl Swiss) are too much infested by the Ryanair cheap virus.. but they can't survive w/o. Business travel nowadays is soo much restricted because of "CO2", cost, etc.. There is No Telco that can replace a personal contact at least now and then.. to get things done.

Mit einer Reisegeschwindigkeit von etwa 375 Knoten (695 km/h) und einer Reichweite von rund 1.100 Seemeilen (2.040 Kilometer) ist er sowohl schnell als auch leistungsfähig. Es freut mich, dass dir der Fang gefallen hat.
