I wonder if Stormy and Vinny's genetics are just small in stature, because I remember when you separated them because of Vinny being a bit of a bully to Stormy and you hoped Stormy would gain weight once being away from him.... It drives me crazy when others don't respect your property ! We are constantly picking up beer bottles & cans , cigarette packs , soiled diapers , other trash . Another problem is that part of our property borders a very sharp curve . Even though there is a sign warning of it , people still go way over the speed limit & end up sliding around the curve . We have had them literally lose control & slam their vehicle int this huge oak tree across from us . Years ago they would run up into my yard & the flower bed near the road . I got so fed up I had my husband bring huge boulders to that area & place them with his tractor to border the yard & flower beds . THAT DID THE TRICK !!!
The trash problem is so aggravating… I understand your frustration… Some people have no morals and will never care about others… Our property also is next to a dirt road that goes into a hollow… Sometimes they throw cans and such onto our property where our LGD’s are but I’ve not caught who is doing it yet… I’ve even put up trail cameras and can’t catch them… It’s done at night and the cameras don’t pick up clear enough… I have to have the cameras back far enough that they can’t get to them … Majestic had chewed one to pieces because I THOUGHT I had it up far enough that he couldn’t reach… Blessings
New subscriber I’ve went back and watched your previous videos but for the dogs can I suggest since they are known for getting twisted stomachs to use the feeders that clip onto the fence mid level to help the issue and for the extra milk can you make butter or ice cream with it or sell it to locals for maybe alittle cheaper then stores just a suggestion I live in Amish country and it’s some of the things they do here look forward to following your family farm ❤
That’s a great idea on both… I’ve personally never had issues with my LGD’s their Anatolian Shepards… I’ve heard for large dogs It’s best to feed them up about 12”-18” … I’ve yet to do that since I feed them inside their shelter because it rains a lot here…but I need to seriously consider it since you mentioned the twisted gut issue… I had always wondered why that was recommended…I’ll definitely look into to having my husband make a wall rack to hang a feeder on.. @@MysticalLoveAndLight Hello yes please raise their food up LGD are known for twisted stomach due to the fact of eating off the ground in a bowl per my vet I even have a part Great Dane part boxer she’s very big and tall and was suggested to me about the feeder being raised especially when LGD’s are known for rushing alot of times to eat I look at this way it only takes a couple minutes to do which could save the life of your LGD which they are very important to us for the farm and the cost of the surgery is outrageous to fix it and doesn’t always work either hope you have a great day ❤️
Unfortunately I think those feeders are for a woven wire fence and we have an electric fence so that won't work for us. I am planning on making something to raise the dogs dishes though. I was making butter and cheese but it is very time consuming and with homeschooling I just don't have the time to do it anymore.
@@TheCrazyFarmWife maybe for now you can just use tree stumps to sit their dishes on until something is made just to get them up off the ground I too know money can be tight so I was trying to think outside the box that’s the easiest thing to come up with and we all have trees and downed trees laying around just a suggestion I’m not one of those people that tell a person what to do because everyone does things different ❤️
2:09 actually what you can do is with that extra milk she has before drying her up it'll actually give the animals more fat for winter so I would have kept milking her and using it for the animals because it will help them to stay warm with the proper nutrition that they will need anyway
Love your videos! I can associate myself with you. Although now I'm older and cut down to few domestic animals, I did grow up with cows, horses, pigs, etc... About killing animals, What are those people thinking, that the food/meats they are buying & eating were made by dwarfs? Of course, we are killing animals, or rather, we are making a very much-needed selection, like when you'll have too many Rooster males, etc. At least these animals have the most wonderful life and quick humane dispatch! They did that where I used to live. Sonic trash, cigarette packs, bottles, cans, you name it. On the plus side, the big dummies, thew money out too. Found 20's and a 100$ bill. Picked up a sonic sack once heard change. Looked inside 3 $ bills and 84 cents. I just said thanks for the increase Lord. Lol 🤣 😅😂
@@annietind262 have to watch bills over 20.00 due to possible transferable traces of drugs. Don't touch w/o gloves. Fentanyl is one that can be absorbed thru skin contact.

There are high fines in Washington state for littering and if it is a cigarette or anything that is burning, the finest are crazy. No littering is definitely enforced. Now here in Kansas, there is so much garbage on the main roads, and people go to fast foods places at night, drive into neighborhoods and just put the trash in the center if the roads. I absolutely hate that people are such pigs here. (No offense to pigs, especially to Shrek!)

I have a chow chow and all she would eat was Parina puppy chow and I got her when she was 12 weeks old. She lived to be 16 and now I have a Yorkie and she prefers puppy food. She’s 12 years old and I figure she eats a little bit here a little bit there she weighs like 9 pounds And I just let her free feed and she just eats what she wants then quit I figured that her age she deserved to have the puppy kibble. That makes me sick that people throw trash on your yard. I know they come out here where I live and they throw their beer bottles in the ditch. I don’t own it. Another neighbor does so he has to pick it up because he mows it it’s ridiculous.
