3:33 Know that feeling all too well. The one shot that feels absolutely perfect off the hand, balance is great, and the corner pin says "My balance is better!". 😂
Except for the 2 handed style, Ryan Barnes is a clone of Chris. They even have the same mannerisms. I'm certain there's a good bit of Linda in there also. He can't go wrong either way.
Just found this channel a few days ago and love it. Thanks for the content. Also, if you get bored and want to answer this question… how does one gain ball speed? The harder I throw the less control I have on it. I feel I bowl better when I throw it around 13-14mph. I want to be more towards that 18mph.
You always have to control your hand when throwing it harder. I remember when I bowled on a badly burnt up lane. I had to literally bowl the whole lane to get it into the pocket. I had to throw it hard while also controlling my hand, to make sure it didn't over hook. It can be hard to throw it harder with more control. Just keep on practicing your hand control, flatten out the hook a bit while throwing it harder
The key to gaining ball speed is to find a way to move your feet quicker! I would suggest moving slightly further back on the approach and taking quicker steps! As for the control that just takes time to get used to throwing it hard it won’t be something that comes right away!
@@TheHouseBowling this makes sense because I stand so close to the approach and I walk very slow lol. Being this is how I’ve bowled for the past 17 years, it will be hard to change that.
@@TheHouseBowling Incredible coaching from arguably the top college bowling team. He clearly wants to get better all the time if he’s a Shocker. Can't wait to get back into bowling. Here in new zealand we're still in lockdown where alleys can't open until an ease of restrictions, hopefully by December. I miss bowling. Love the content house bowling!!!!
27-2800 basically scratch isn't too bad but that 800 tho! Nice! Congrats to Ryan for carrying all of you. He doesn't seem that strong. LOL! Now, you need 1650 in doubles. Make it happ'n, Cap'n!
Doubt I'll get an answer but I'm curious what weight is Ryan throwing? Even though I know MOST would assume he's throwing at least 15 lbs. I have a weird feeling that he's throwing 14 pound gear?
wait!, wut?, double digit hdcp? LOL, great bowling Ryan, at least it was recorded for his parents to see if they weren't there. missed my sons first honor score at 279 and his first 300, so it was good to be present for his 3rd 300 and i even got to record it.
I watched Chris and Ryan Barnes lose the finals of the 2022 'King of the lanes' royal family edition after beating the field the first 2 nights. As great as Chris Barnes career has been, Ryan may be better. I enjoy watching them both.
have to say watching you and ryan keeps me inspired to get better with the two handed style I'm 1 month in and so far my average has gone up 30-40pins per game compared to one hand traditional style
@@TheHouseBowling how many pounds he play ? i always see pro player playing with 14-15lb, but the maximum i can play is like 11-12 pound, is it good to make good score ? my maximum is 234, and i did it without hooking, now i’m playing 2 handed style, thank !

Straight up the back, plenty of forward roll and an absolutely perfect stance
the pre-shot shoulder shimmy runs in the family
I always said that he had his dads foot work
Nice seeing Ryan following in his parents foot-steps.
"as straight as i can"

LMAO i love it
Would be cool if Ryan can get on tour with his dad and make a telecast together.

They aren't brothers.
Bro... Ryan's 21 mph average speed + 500 rev rate is crazy...
Barnzys kid is a beast!!! I see him going places nice rolling

i see your definition of playing straight and my definition of playing straight are eerily similar, lol
Way to go RB 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Versatile + reflexes: can't beat that.
Straight as possible....1st shot hooking it 1/3 of the lane. Lmao

Does Ryan lay the ball on his wrist?
Guy in red started off too deep.
He would be the one that shot 800!

I shot a 751 2 weeks ago for a new high series and a new high game of 280, I’m 16

One time I shot over 800 in 3 games and almost made my average 199 and just missing the 200 mark.
What is Ryan's speed on the monitors?
18 or 19
