It's funny how they ban people from making Chris Benoit but yet people were making Charles Manson and Adolf Hitler and they never got banned.

I remember being disappointed at WWE 2K15 since I couldn't use custom music for the created wrestlers.
That's one of my favorite things I loved in wrestling games: using custom music for CAWs.
2K, please bring this ability back for their future WWE 2K games. 😢

Since 2K15's showcase mode highlighted iconic rivalries, I just hope 2K comes back to that formula for showcase. The career showcase has been quite a bit underwhelming and repetitive recently tbh add the fact that we're not getting the full experience because we're just stuck to seeing the highlighted wrestler narrates his own career and just getting WWE footage mid game, no commentary too
If 2K decides to come back to the rivalry formula, they can have:
Triple H/The Rock
Gargano/Ciampa
Brock Lesnar/Undertaker etc.

The SVR series was more fun than the 2K series, I tried getting into it but just wasn’t enjoyable, granted some of the 2K games had decent features such as creation mode with face adding and logos the graphics started out good but then the newer ones looked worse but gameplay felt so slow and restricted in ways, custom music, create a finishers, etc being removed was BS, also each 2K game the ring looked like it was smaller it was again feeling like it was too small to wrestle in making it moving around the ring and doing moves feel cramped
SVR 2007 Is The GOAT!
Gameplay was about the same. The rival story mode was a good idea, but seemed rather lackluster.
I had the game on the ps3 and I had the hulk hogan dlc. And besides 2k always end up removing the dlc from previous games as soon as the servers go down.
I loved this game because of Hulk Hogan. That's what made me purchase it.

So many repeated VO lines makes this very hard to listen to. Always remember to go through the edit.
Amid a lot of hype a player's shilling for it. The game lacked content and the roster was meh. Hulk Hogan lost his mind. His removal wasn't result ethics. It was just a smart business decision. If he would have done anything considered socially immoral that garnered news. He would have been removed.
The gameplay was heavily changed to reflect the improvement of in ring wrestling. As the in ring product became to focus on more technical, hybrid, and high spot wrestling.
The great thing was that it made the every wrestler have different skills, abilities, and personality. And this affected how they played and acted in the ring.
This game was a test. And it passed the test. Then they went balls to the walls with 2k16. Thank you 2K15.
Forever hard for this game🤤
Would be interested in a video on the Nintendo 3DS Version of WWE All-Stars since it was the only Wrestling Game Released for that console. Plus it was one of the last original THQ Games before their original bankruptcy. Lastly it has a weird glitch in story mode that crashes the game but can be worked around by turning the 3D Slider Effect Off just before the final cut scene starts.
Also the biggest one was probably the fact that 2K 15 on the last gen what's an overall better game less bugs the we got NXT mode was what is awesome in comparison to the my career mode not to mention they brought in vs super cena match (forget what it called)
Hopefully CM Punk is in WWE 2k24 since he's back in WWE CM Punk and Torrie Wilson as DLC in wwe 2k24 would be awesome to see i hope that happens.

The reason create a finisher was removed is because some created moves would cause massive damage the running start plus running clothesline in wwe '13 ring a bell anyone?

Showcase mode was the best thing about this game
Mini story 2k15 I got the year it came out for ps4 bc the graphics looked amazing. Ngl I liked 2k15 when I was younger but looking back it isn’t that great (except showcase mode bc it still holds up) The creation suite was a major downgrade to the point where we couldn’t even create females (which is ridiculous)
I rate 2k15 a 5/10 bc of showcase (universe mode was terrible though) coming after 2k14 this is a major disappointment
Edit: The hall of pain showcase was really underrated (bc it was dlc)
The only good thing about universe mode was the story thing that was only in that game and never returning

@@noahtalley4351 It's funny you say that because I initially had the game pre ordered from my local EB Games store for my newly purchased Xbox One at the time, but then after hearing all these features I loved from 2K14 were all cut from next gen versions of 2K15, I switched my pre order to the Xbox 360 version and thank goodness I did, because it's a rare case in which a last gen version was vastly superior over a new gen version of the same game. Let's say it was a wise move of me to hang onto my 360 for a couple more years after I purchased my first Xbox One back in 2014 😂

I feel like what made 2K15 more controversial is omitting guys who was in 2K14 and not having them in 2K15 despite being with wwe at the time like 2K15 was missing Sin Cara,Zack Ryder,Heath Slater,Edge,Christian,Khali,And legends from 2K14 like Bret Hart,Eddie Guerrero,Rocky Steamboat like Idk why they didn’t just copy and paste the roster from 2K14 into 2K15 idk why does 2K does that I hope they stop doing that and also they took away custom music which was really stupid custom music made creating someone who wasn’t in the game despite being with wwe more unique so yeah 2K needs to bring back custom music no doubt
We did get some back thanks to DLC, which yeah it is sad they're only available to what was a very limited-available (and now long-expired) premium addition. Edge, Christian, and Khali were amongst them.

Also I don't know who this "Hulk Hogan" Irish fella is but in the "Path of the Warrior" DLC, you get play as a hot dog wrapped in a curtain with mustard and ketchup twice.
Not like I'd use hogan anyways, so wouldn't really affect me.
It felt like a beta of the real 2k game that was coming out. It has so few features that you would expect normally.
This game’s buildup and impact on wrestling video games truly is something. At a time when THQ just died, and many fans at the time felt the games were getting old and boring and thought 2K would revolutionize the series, oh boy, I wonder how they feel nowadays. To those who say they miss THQ and Yuke’s but also said those games were getting boring at the time, just no, don’t try to get sympathy when you wanted “change”. Just accept your hypocrisy😅. I personally never had a problem with THQ and when they died, I just knew it wasn’t gonna be good news. But that’s just me. If anyone enjoys 2K15, more power to you, and I hope y’all continue to have fun regardless of the countless criticisms to it.

Next gen WWE 2k15 might of been bad but old gen wwe 2k15 was goated and very good with the content and gameplay it had that was exclusive to old gen players
And they also removed how much blood there was post game and ruined the ragdoll physics post game
and after wwe2k15 it was all down hill from there because everything that was in wwe2k14 hasn't been seen in forever and i want it all back and i want it all back NOW if they give us wwe2k24 they should call it wwe2k24 40 years of wrestlemania because if wwe2k14 was 30 years of wrestlemania well then wwe2k24 should be called wwe2k24 40 years of wrestlemania and have everything that was in wwe2k14 in it.
Its really weird how the xbox 360/ps3 versions of 2k15,16, and 17 are literally just completely different to the xbox one/ps4. They have the traditional arcade gameplay with content that just straight up doesnt exist on xbox one and ps4. I can't think of any other game where the downgraded version is actually better.

The Hulk Hogan removal was ridiculous. No one asked for it, outside of braindead woke wrestling journalists. Regular gamers have the brain power to distinguish a character from a person.
Also if someone didn't like Hogan, they could just not play as him. Simple as that. Also WWE is the last place to pretend to take moral stands.

I thought 2K20 was the most controversial game because of how bad and glitchy it was. I actually liked 2K15 probably because I mainly played the last gen version of this game instead of the next gen version. 2K Showcase basically carried this game.
