📢 JC24 Has Fledged!! - ETSU Johnson City: Boone, Jolene, JC23 & JC24 (5/17)

The first of the nests on this channel to fledge two eaglets this season... and it was simply glorious!
This morning, it almost looked like JC23 was encouraging JC24 to take flight, with mini jaunts around the nesting tree over and over again. And then, finally... a nice big build up to an absolutely beautiful first flight. Judos to the cam op who did a magnificent job of following JC24!

So glad these two made it! My first nest that I viewed from baby to fledge. They have great parents who gave them everything they needed to successfully fledge, but I was still a bit wary of the nest construction and all the storms!
