Absolutely. Roy and Tremblay had a serious personality clash beforehand. Roy did instigate things when Tremblay first walked into the dressing room as the new coach by snickering. Probably just the most professional way to be to your coach.
Brashear should have punched the lights out on Tremblay . He ruined the Montreal Candiens.
Absolutely would have loved to see that.. Brash got traded 4 days after this incident.

Miro tremblay, rejean house WERE the most incompetent duo of GM /coach in montreal ever. But hey at least they were able to communicate in French smh
as a French quebecer I would prefer Montreal get the best people available than just someone that speaks French. worst case get an assistant coach that speaks French

Really? Broke into the best line up of all time as an 18 year old. He had 258 career goal, almost 400 assists, 5 Cups, basically a checker in the playoffs with a point every second game. He was a bonafide NHL player. Took on a lot of heavyweights in his day too. Mario was no joke.
Tremblay was a goof ball. Worked well with Patrick Roy to eh.

I felt sorry for brashear, he could have been a very decent power forward but was pigeon holed into being a goon only because he destroyed guys when he fought them

@@kpax45 that’s true...Certainly Patrick did. Pardon my lack of French.....but at :48, it almost sounds like he is slurring the f word ( if he were speaking English) . At the same time, DB was no loss when he left.
