Just started learning how to make my own bedlah bra and belt for belly dancing. Beading is part of creating those costumes. Although the designs will be very different, the techniques of beading are helpful. Your voice is also very calming and zen to listen to while I work on my costume. Thank you for sharing your skills.
I was procrastinating on the tail end of a project but putting this video on to listen to helped me finish it up 😀 love your name in your language, swooned over how beautiful it sounded
Older eyesight! I know what you mean! #11’s are the smallest beads that I can use anymore. Sad but true. But your beading and videos are always helpful and inspiring! Thank you!
I am not sure if this is live, or I am watching a replay. I wanted to comment that I have used tule (the netting on ballerina dresses) as a paper. It to has grids, but they stretch. I like it better than the crinkling of paper.
Hi! I wish I had seen your vids before I jumped into beading. I'm learning by skimming a few vids n books and a great deal of Trial and Error lol What do you use as your backing and paper here? Im having a really hard time with bead embroidery 😕
I've learned quite a bit from Trial and error. Its def true. Keep it up. Start small and simple and work your way to more difficult projects. Happy beading
Hello, friend! I was curious about your opinion on beading onto something like denim. I just recently bought a new jean jacket (that is fairly stiff), but I’m not sure whether I can (or should) bead directly onto the material, or if I should bead onto something sturdier and then sew that onto the denim? Thank you so much!!!
You could bead directly onto the denim. I would used a embroidery ring to keep the fabric stiffer. And then u could figured out a way to cover the stitching from inside
So beautiful. My eyes are not the greatest but at 74 I'm finally doing what I want to do. Thanks so much for teaching and sharing.
