Erratum ; I mistakenly referred to EP oil as Extra Pressure ,when I should have said Extreme Pressure .
The skf seems the best option and I think it'll do a grand job. I'm glad you went to the effort of checking how the temperature and lubricants degrade synthetic cages, as it is something that has concerned me in certain applications. Thank you for falling down the rabbit hole, it has saved me doing it.

You were nearly there! NTN do a 28 ball version that has a higher static and dynamic load capacity than the ZKL one and all the other bearings you referenced. I was able to order it through my local bearing supplier. Wasn't cheap!

The problem with rabbit holes is they're generally full of rabbit shit as well as mad hatters and other weirdos . SKF it will be .
Someone on a Loopframe Facebook page mentioned a 28 ball bearing made by ZKL . I thought that they might be the answer although I'd never heard of them . They are Czech . Apparently Volkswagen used to use their bearings but my research showed they canceled the contract a few years ago due to poor quality . The company nearly went bust . They sell a lot of bearings in India though .
