I would prefer if they dropped the different suits and if you just got different gadgets that do the same thing. Cus I just want to be the main Batman look for the whole thing
I personally like the suits because it gives a little more variety to the game but they could ditch the suits since there wasn’t any in lego dc super villains
I agree with Albino Jackal, I feel like the suits have been done and now we're in a new era. I personally always thought the suits were cool but I felt weird not looking like normal Batman. In the movies and tv shows he's never seen switching suits to do different things, it's his gadgets in his utility belt that make him so well-equipped. I think they should do what they did in super villains by having better boss battles with the enemies by using combos and different gadgets but this time for Batman. And I think a cool story is needed, keeping things simple won't make it worthy for game of the year like you said, its just a rehash of the other 2.
Gotham looked best in the first Lego Batman. The green lightings and eerie feel just made it soooo iconic. If you take away the legos and the music it’s basically a horror game. I think they should give it that feel again

Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred would all be playable in a "Scooby-Doo!/Batman" crossover bonus level. Beating the level would unlock the Mystery Inc. crew as playable characters, with Scooby and Shaggy's abilities reused from "Lego Dimensions". [DLC PACK SUGGESTIONS] 1.) "The Lego Movie" Character Pack (Features characters from "The Lego Movie" duology and "The Lego Batman Movie". Their abilities are re-used from "The Lego Movie Videogame" and "Lego Dimensions", with some exceptions like Benny now having flight instead of gliding, and Lego Movie Batman, Lego Movie Robin and Lego Movie Batgirl all having advanced glide.) 2.) W story, W level design and upgrade the Gotham hub from Batman two with the camera of the skywalker saga. Also give us an expansive batcave like the first and third games along with the alt pov that the first game had. And bring in metropolis and lex corps but don’t downsize any cities just expand upon, luthor will be like a halfway through the story boss to deal with at lex corps like the second game but different and keep his desires to be president.
Maybe we could make the game about Ra's al Ghul so it's a more interesting story. Joker was the final boss in the first two. Another thing we could add is unused Batman villains like Failsafe, Talia, Spellbinder or the Red Hood (he could just be a mini boss fight, though). The other option is to just adapt something like Dark Knights Metal.
These are just ideas of the top of my head (although some of them might be done already.) You could have batsuits that emulate villains: Fear Toxin suit, Venom suit, Robin could have like decoys suit (duplicate himself) and the decoy blows up! Maybe a few suits for taking down justice league members? Ice skating suit for Robin (causes flash to slip) The wooden suit for Batman (use wooden type mechanisms similar to green laterns construct) Maybe turn the heat suit into an “Red Sun,” costume? Beat superman. I also think by default Batmans suit should be “the glider suit.” Ninja Stealth suits could be cool (I just don’t want invisibility? A bit more in depth stealth would be nice) Maybe you can change between superhero and civilian costume whenever you want? Allows you to bypass some places and walk in without stealth. My picks are suits that both have a story impact but also can be used for puzzles? It they was super brave and wanted to make Batman more evil then a Batman who laughs could be cool?
I think the story for LEGO Batman 4 was already teased at the end of LEGO DC Super Villains. Spoilers for LEGO DC Super Villains!!! After beating the game, Darkseid and his team was attacked by the Anti-Monitor, meaning he will probably be the main villain of LEGO Batman 4. This could also mean the story is very similer to Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Also, just wanna mention some DLC options. Knightfall: A DLC based off of Batman Arkham Knight that would take place when Batman is trying to save Jim. The level would start before the Excavator fight and end after Batman saves Barbara. The level would have the Excavator and Red Hood as bosses. You would play as Batman(Arkham) and James Gordon(Arkham). When the level is complete, you would unlock Batman(Arkham), Arkham Knight/Red Hood(Arkham), Scarecrow(Arkham), Catwoman(Arkham), James Gordon(Arkham) and Nightmare Batman. Beyond the Mask: This DLC level is based off of Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and would take place at the end of the movie. The only boss would be The Joker. You would play as Batman(Beyond) and Ace(Beyond). When you beat the level, you would unlock the same characters from the Batman Beyond DLC from LEGO Batman 3. Recapture: This would be a DLC level where Joker captures Commissioner Gordon and basically recaps the previous 4 games to Batman and Robin. The level would be split into 6 sections, the first 5 being based on LEGO Batman 1, 2, 3, LEGO Dimensions, and LEGO DC Super Villains. The last part would have Joker as a boss where he would use small robots that resemble the final bosses from the previous games (Joker, Lex Luthor, Braniac, Lord Vortech, and Darkseid.) After you beat the level, you would unlock Batman, Robin, James Gordon, and Joker in their appearances from the first LEGO Batman game.
Here’s my idea for Lego Batman 4: a take on crisis infinite earths but only featuring Batman, for example the main villains would be the Batman who laughs, Barbados, the merciless, etc. the main universes you go to are classic Gotham, Zur En Ahr, Beyond, Gaslight, Flashpoint, Red Son, and Batman Returns. The map will be similar to chronoopolis and Gotham and metropolis in Lego marvel superhero and dc super villains. However this time they will be much more separated from each other with classic Gotham being the biggest map in the game. The games story will be mostly Batman focused with some other dc heroes appearing but in the story you will only be playing as Batman characters. I think the game should be called Lego Batman 4: dark knights metal

this video is awesome i subscribed! i agree with the suit wheel being removed but maybe in free play they should be freely accessible because in lego batman 2 it was awkward trying to do puzzles while needing to backtrack to get the right suit. the main hub world should also have more uniqueness. lego batman 2's hub world was great but lots of the puzzles were copy and pasted and there wasn't really any diversity. i like the idea of characters being unlocked through mini boss fights but since modern lego games have much more characters, i think character tokens should be in hub and levels. lego marvel avengers and lego batman 3 both had 3 character tokens in each level which meant you could get around 45 characters from free play. similar to lego marvel avengers, there could be a main hub world (Gotham city) then extra worlds whatever they may be
Nah, dc super villains is not lego Batman 4 and isn’t connected to those games I don’t think. All different voice actors and stuff. It’s a common mistake
