@@zuriw385 the pattern took me about 45 minutes but I wasn't working the entire time, so I honestly cant give a definite time frame, but the install took me about 35-40 minutes.

In my opinion doing the illusion look takes more effort than cornrows
I truly love that braid pattern. I also reuse my hair when it looks that good. I don't have money to throw away like that. Keep showing us those different braid pattern that makes crochet hair easier.

@@k.martin9596 I use ShineNJam. It’s in a yellow container. It kept my hair very moisturized while it was put away under crochet braids. You can find it on Amazon or your local beauty supply b
How long does this style last?
@@JoMuffin93 I have never worn a style for more than 2 weeks. I am lucky if it lasts a week. Once my head starts to itch it is coming down and I am washing.

It might take me 3 days, too! But I've got a plan: wash and rubber band Friday night. Then install hair mostly on Saturday and finish up on Sunday. Ready for work, Monday - I hope!!😅

What do you mean added boxes to the back? I'm still trying to figure out how to do the back
@@msnicole1524 the same way you do the front. You do the back. Add a row or two of individual box braids and connect them braiding upward and then connect them to your cornrows

My stylist can braid well but I never like how my crochets turn out because I have really thick hair and she doesn't want it to get too bulky so I usually have a lot of spaces that prevent me from changing my style. Soon as these tapered sides grow out we're doing this!!! Thanks hunty!!!

Thank you...I'm natural and not a "hair" person. I like crochet braids because I can do it myself but I can't corn roll...so up under my corchet braids be looking a hot mess sometimes..or I have go pass my moms house and get her to do my corn rolls. I tried the individuals and pulling hair through the twist or wrapping it..that just wasn't working for me. This is a lifesaver! I love wearing my hair up in a bun and to have a style that I can now do the braids myself and the edges look decdent so I can wear it up is perfect for me...oh on it's now..My head looks a hot mess right now...but by this weekend it's gonna be right.
