I added a New Partner/ Story to Paper Mario: The Origami King [more Bobby the Bob-omb]

- I love Bobby the Bob-omb from Paper Mario: The Origami King. Bobby and Olivia were great friends in this Paper Mario game, and I wanted there to be more adventures with Bobby and Olivia after completing Paper Mario: The Origami King, so I added a new partner/ follower to the game: a familiar ghost Bob-omb :)
This was done by swapping some character models with other character models, and editing some dialogue in the game to add a new adventure that Mario, Bobby, and Olivia could all go on together!
I hope you enjoy this new adventure for Mario, Bobby the Bob-omb, and Olivia in a post-King Olly world where Princess Peach is rescued!

When the first cutscene started I knew it was just his text and sprite changed but man I wanted to see the bob-omb boi again even if it's not official

Great questions! I know a few people who are working on modding this game and they're learning a lot about battles/ loading zones/ story triggers, so it's possible that we might see some interesting stuff in the modding scene for this game in the future! Have a great day :D

Bobby is one of the best maro characters he may just be a bob omb but he's amazing
He had to cut a small part out because the scene where he scooches down the seat glitches out and shrinks when hacking one player's model into a cutscene where a different model should be, in this case Ghost Bobby shrinks when living Bobby is supposed to scooch along the lift seat. Just wanted to let anyone know who wasn't sure why the cut was made.

This is pretty cool and I can tell there was alot of effort put into it, it's really cool how the Shangri-spa toads can let's and allow you to return back to earth for 24hours
But one thing technically Olivia should be dead but for the purposes let's just say Olivia only wished for the bad stuff olly did was just removed like as if it never happened but it did because Bobby's dead

It’s funny how this is just a normal version of the game but with different dialogue and stuff, it’s the yellow streamer is even there and there’s still no sand in scorching sandpaper desert, one more thing I noticed is that when the sea captain toad was supposed to be there but Bobby was instead, the voice that Bobby had was the toad’s voice oh and the green streamer is still there too
Great observation! Yeah, some of the characters just had their models replaced with Bobby and had their dialogue changed, but the game still treated it as if it were those characters talking :) Hope you enjoyed the video, thanks so much for checking it out! I love this, but one thing. In order for this to actually work in the game, Olivia would have to be gone because they talk about defeating Olly, but Olivia dies when they do that. So if this were to be I’m the game, ghost Bobby would replace Olivia.

Would have been cooler if there was a new story like dlc where other ghosts want to destroy Bobby and eliminate mario. Also there could be a scene where a ghost throws mario out of his body

Yes, this is footage from several mods I made! I was always expecting this to happen in the game, I'm a bit surprised that there wasn't a way for Bobby to come back. It's interesting that there are game files for Bobby's ghost playing an exploding animation, but that's probably just because the same files from Bobby were copied over but given a different colour hue to make him look like a ghost
Gosh this makes mourning for Bobby, for nothing... (From my view. If it wasn't for Bobby's bravery, Olivia would have been still trapped in the boulder.) But still, at the end, if he is destroyed again another one can take his place thanks to the Bom-omb battlefield and bowser's factory!

I just completed the paper mario the origami king and this actually makes me feel happy because Olivia and Bobby are not dead
Olivia is revived here, but Bobby is permanently dead. His consciousness still remains, but he doesn't have a physical presence. Still good enough to warm my heart though!
