    I'm glad to see the Hong10 freeze included here. It's such a versatile freeze although since Hong10 has a monopoly over the move, it's not as common as air chairs or even baby freezes

    Iam 41, was bboying from 2000 until 2010, an injury hurt me back then a few months i was out, the crew vanished and i stopped myself
    Now about 14 years later, recently (3 weeks ago) started to bboy again. Learning back some basics i could do back then, learning handstand (which i already can stand for 24 seconds with open legs), learning back windmill, which i could do today 6 clean good rounds (will develope faster with time again like back then),learning back swipes on both sides later on flare as well but my absolute priority actually is the airflare, Iam trying to learn the basics and the walk over airflare first during practice but also wanna learn back all the stuff i mentioned together with munchmills and halos (footwork, six step i can do also but is not my focus right now, it's powermoves) my body is in a great condition, still flexible with my arms, legs, chest, shoulders (doing gym sind 8 years to keep my body strong and in shape as well good nutrition, supplements) that my body need.
    Iam watching your videos Sambo, looking up Tipps, learned everything self back then, the flare was one of the hardest to learn but still managed.
    Do you think it's possible to achieve that what i want for now? In 1 or 2 years? Specially Airflare, my absolute priority

    We have to put our stabbing hand(for me left hand) directly beside my belly button like there is no space between my belly button or my elbow its little bit away from belly button maybe 3 or 4 cms away from my belly button or directly above my hip bone!!!I know it might sound supid but hands position do matter and I want my foundation to be strong!!!You will put swipes tutorial next year or maybe in coming weeks? Thanks for the support!!!

    making limitations into oppertunities.. that would be a cool video.. and perhaps a recipie for building full interconnectable sets.. thats a lot so it might be chance to make it into several videos depending on how much effort you want to put into the explanations.. idk food for thought peace

    My hypothesis is:
    It's probably called a pilot cause it's the freeze before the actual freeze you are trying to get to (which in this case is the baby freeze), it's just like pilot episodes in a series, the pilot episode is not the first episode of the series just a precursor what comes before the actual aired episode. i don't know what you think?

    Actually I think pilot used to be what the call an icy and ice and I can see how that freeze professes you in to the skill I used have trouble with halo because I throw legs wrong or my hips would be too low like a pilot

    Hey coach do you recommend taking days off training during the week? I train every day cause I'm hungry, but I've been thinking. Am I settling myself back in your opinion not having rest days?

    • @CoachSambo
      @CoachSambo  4 роки тому +3

      Fat J depends on your age. Under 18? Then you can train every day. If you are between 18 and 25 I recommend you take 2 tot 3 day’s off. If you are +25 then I recommend you training 3 day’s a week. This can vary as how it feels, but this is my specific path.

    I dont know why but i dont have the same name of freeze than you... For me "pilot freeze" is "side chair" and "baby freeze" is "Tracks" or "balance" (in french)
    And "side freeze" is "baby freeze"

    • @CoachSambo
      @CoachSambo  5 років тому +1

      Yes, every country has this problem. I base most of my names off BBoy the game. They did a good job with that so I try to stick to that. Coupole vrille tete clash lol
