I had a little maltese for 16 years he would have been 16 in December his name was Harley I had to put him to sleep after 16 years actually in November that was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life I have no children he was my son and I miss him so terribly much
He was my son hardly a little sixteen-year-old Maltese I miss him and love him so so much but I know in my heart I will see him again and heaven
Wow - losing my parents' little bloke made them give up on life & then lose interest in living. He was the boss of the house & wrapped around his paw. He was a priority & if I came to visit (he knew my car) he knew I always had a "present" either a new toy or a dog biscuit in my pocket. He would dance around & sniff my shirt pocket to get what I had" LOL.
Change “Maltese” to dogs in general and it still applies… though I do have a Maltese Yorkie mix and he definitely is a follower
