- While Far Cry 6 releases November 7th, we were able to get our hands on it a little early. Check out our hands-on footage of a few co-op missions including defending a bloodthirsty chicken and sneaking around a cargo ship to help hostages onboard.
Far Cry 6 will be releasing on Amazon Luna, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.

Graphics looks far cry from the previous gameplay trailer , it looks more like far cry 5 , also why there are health bar in enemies ... more microtransactions for xp boost to level up your character incoming :/

At least most of their micro transactions aren’t necessary and you’re fine without buying them. I don’t mind them existing as long as they have no effect on the enjoyment of the actual game

Why is Ubisoft still recycling gun models and animations from FAR CRY 3??? This is just sad Ubisoft at least use the microtransaction money you're wringing out of your player base to hire some artists.
Heck they recycled some stuff from FC: Instincts.

@@francescofioroni70 look at the m14 and the spas 12 for this game and look at the weapons from far cry 3 and far cry 4 and far cry 5. For new dawn it's the same models but they altered them slightly to fit the story.

It’s not entirely an rpg. Enemies aren’t as big of bullet sponges as new dawn and most weapons kill enemies quickly. You can turn the health bars off too

Don't ever hate on a game that iterates story on an already solid engine and mechanics. As long as they mix up the missions and have a unique and quality story, I've always been OK with only small improvements to an already solid foundation. It's the story and quests at this point. At this level of art and fidelity, we don't need graphical upgrades, it looks fantastic. We need a deep story with characters we care about. As long as they don't recycle the same quest types over and over.
I agree, farcry is a sandbox with a set of gameplay elements. Granted the health bars are way out of place and ai I feel like have gotten more dumb over the years since farcry 2, (hopefully hard difficulty will compensate for that instead of just changing damage and health stats) but this game looks pretty aight. Emphasis on the “Aight”

Hopefully, that will be an one of the options in the settings so you can customize the HUD.

go play it, it's a pretty great game. try it out with the Redux mods if you haven't already, they rebalance some of the games more annoying aspects, like how long it takes for malaria to kick in, rate at which outposts have enemies respawning and the chance of a pursuit from driving through outposts.
it also boosts damage output of a lot of weapons, makes the player more fragile and removes the map marker from your map so you have to use landmarks to navigate. it's pretty cool.

Wtf is this game even. Health bars like in RPG game, reusing all animations from previous titles, useless abilities and even bleeping the curse words. Yep this game is definitely a Far Cry from its former self.
The censored words aren't Ubisofts doing, it's done by GameSpot itself in editing. Hopefully you understand why

@@TheBic4 dogs look pretty similar, especially within the same race, so if you have a dog that bears a resemblance to the in-game one it feels like you're shooting your own dog.
looking at it from a moral perspective, humans _choose_ to be evil, but a dog purely acts on instinct, and many attack dogs have been abused for their entire life in order to make it more aggressive. it doesn't attack you because it hates you, it attacks you because it's all it knows. it's depressing.

Some sad-looking kills here. We can all agree that first shotgun kill is NOT what should happen when you shoot a guy with a 12-gauge from 5 feet away. The whole mag used to kill the guy at 4:57 is also bad.

FC4 is my favorite FC and I don’t see it ever getting beaten. The exotic setting, the wildlife…FC4 stands supreme in my book.

I jumped the gun a bit 🤣 it's just so hard to trust any devs now and days especially since covid it's just been dumpster fire after dumpsterfire the reusing of reload animations does piss me off but if I'm being honest I just want something new to play I've been playing the first insurgency and that's about it

I’m beginning to worry there’s no wildlife diversity in this game. Wildlife has been a staple to Far Cry and aside from the Amigos and their wild species, I’ve seen no wildlife in any trailers.
I’ve only seen crocs, sharks, pelicans, and a mongoose. Knowing FC, the recycled boars and feral dogs will be in the game. And there will be a cougar Amigo. But is there anything else??? I swear, FC4 set the bar too high for wildlife…dangerous wildlife…that the rest of the modern day FC’s can’t seem to match. Besides FC3.

@@francescofioroni70 yes but if you watch all the marketing trailer for each other Far Cry entry, you seem lots of wildlife each marketing material. All we’ve seen in the 5 official trailers have been the animals I mentioned. And even the 30 mins of new gameplay people have been posting, have had little to no wildlife spotted in their previews.
Trust me, I hope I’m wrong.
I have to appreciate the way you both were playing. Your gameplay felt tactical and it hinted at the good moments that occur while playing on co-op. We need more gameplay footage like this one, that helps deliver better the essence of the game and the way it's meant to be played. Keep it up, Gamespot.

The New Call Of Duty Modern Warfare was so well received, part of that was due to the new engine and the effort that went into the details. When you look at gameplay, if it wasn’t for the map it’d be pretty hard to tell these games apart. If you’re playing on PC Far Cry games have always looked pretty good but it’s just frustrating to see the same engine from over 10 years ago.

I would recommend starting of with 3 or 4, now that they are both on 70% discount, to see if you even like this type of games, because as someone who played 2,3,4,5 and New Dawn, this sure as hell doesn't look promising.
