i love the fact that this is an actual nightmare that the door worker is experiencing and not just some random reason to make it harder

All the characters are nightmare versions, also love the Milkman’s design being a vampire with piercing and a damn chocker and how they made Dr. W. Afton into Springtrap/William Afton. Those are my two favourite designs
I think that the dreams that the doorman is having that lead to the events on nightmare mode might just be what it looks like for the double gangers when they head back to their own hotels where they come from and he's just sharing the experience with the doorman from there world.

i love the picture on nightmare mode it really shows you how the gameplay is about to be!
So basically in nightmare mode your asleep in a nightmare so in the original mode a clown comes and says if you see a clown in your dream don't play a game with him. So when the clown shows up in the nightmare have to click no or you can beat him in the game.

I don't think the phone helps very much in this mode because it's supposed to be used as a last ditch effort when you're still unsure if they're a doppelganger or not and this mode makes it nearly impossible to tell. It's not getting an immediate kill that clues you in as to whether they're a doppelganger or not more than the phone which isn't the most helpful solution. I feel that all of the apartments you call will say "____" isn't at home.
i could be wrong but I think the phone is helpful, it’s just that he keeps calling people who are on the list, which is pointless because we already know the ones on the list will say that they aren’t home, since the point of the list is residents letting you know they will be out and go expect them, since he kept calling ones that were on the list doppelgänger or not, it will say they’re not home
Well only if they’re already inside or not on the list. And I don’t think 🧐 layers pay enough attention to that

For those wondering how he got this mode if you still dont know :
Nightmare mode is currently only available for PC.
To update the game for PC you need to go onto the game's main page, press onto buy, there should be an option further down that says "I already bought this" or something along those lines, and it will tell you to enter your email. Enter in the email that you used to originally buy the game and it sends you an email that will provide you with the link to download the new updated version.
Here is a tip: If the person is in the daily list thing, you dont have to call because they reserved (ig) that they were leaving
