Dr. Ayham was a really good young man, well-mannered and hardworking. He was a dentist, I worked with him during the period before his arrest. I was his assistant nurse in the clinic. I remember very well that when the revolution broke out in Damascus in 2011 , he disappeared for 3 months. No one knew where he was. One day, I was sitting in the clinic, resting my eyes were closed and my head leaning back, he got in and called me by my name, I opened my eyes and saw him in front of me, smiling, My joy at his return was indescribable. At that time, we knew that he had been arrested by Assad’s militias. At that time, I traveled to Egypt and then to New York. 2 yeas later, one night, I was following the news of my country on Facebook and I saw a post mourning the news of his death, I could not believe it ! I cried really bad for him , He was arrested again and killed under torture by Assad's militias. I used to tell my sister about him ,I liked him , My sister was pregnant had a baby (boy ) named him Ayham. ☺️ I will never forget his nice ,shy smile and his red cheeks.☺️ May Allah grant him Janna 💚

They found his dead body in one of Assad prison, he returned to Syria and they take him back to prison and they torture him to deny what he said about what happened to him before and to confess that he was lying before then they will free him again but he was resilience, they keep torturing him until he died, the world need to hear his story. It's true that Syria is heavily destroyed, but saying it's in ruins is an exaggeration. The reality there isn't as extreme as videos portray or people imagine. Of course most cities have destroyed neighborhoods (that have residents still living there despite the destruction, I was one of them) and some areas that are completely reduced to ruins, but at the same time all cities still have vital and relatively not effected buildings and areas
Mazen’s story is just one of many horrific stories, I am so sad for Mazen and his family because he forced to come back to Syria because his family was threatened by the regime so his sacrificed himself. Rest in peace Mazen and other innocent people

He went missing in 2021 when Assad regime threatened him about his family and asked him to return to Syria! Since then, no one knew about his whereabouts! Today he was found in one of the prisons of Assad, dead!

Dear God! That gave me chills. I can't see when the film was actually made, but it was only a few days ago that Assad fled the country.
This is so horrible, I do not know what to do with the sorrow I feel for all the poor tortured people, I am so overwhelmed that president Obama knew about it and done nothing, no action to save them.... it's like the holocaust all over again. For all the countries that knew and did nothing....I hope god will keep the score with them. The absurd is that Bashar El Assad was a doctor, I'm sure that in one point in his life he took the doctor's oath...I wish Bashar El Assad and his friends will meet the the faith of Hitler and his friends. A big lesson to all of us, from all countries and all nations and religions, we are all human beings, lets not forget this.
