Greg is a legend! Helped me get boots and skis a few years back and was easily the most knowledgeable and professional boot fitter and ski wizard I've ever met!!!!
As an longstanding Atris owner living in Europe - but originally a Bow Valley skier - I am happy to recommend the Atris…wicked single quiver…does nearly everything well and is super fun and playful. Just cosnider sizing up cus it has quite a bit of front rocker. Can’t go wrong with the Blizzards either…better edge control on hard pack
@@jarrettreckseidler I ended up taking a chance on the DPS Powderworks 100 RPC, found them on sale for the same price as the Atris and I'm a little more confident that it'll let me drive it as hard as I want. The Atris may still find its way into my quiver at some point, sounds like a good time!
Nice review. It would be helpful to add weight and construction details. I would also add Nordica Enforcer 104 Unlimited, Head Kore 105, Elan Ripstick 106, Rosignol Sender ti 104.
The waist for a all mountain ski really depends on the model also, I can confirm that I fell more confortable on my Moment Wilcat 118 underfoot than on my Atris even on very hard snow and I live in south of alps, meaning I ride from powder to ice...
What do you recommend for a beginner turning intermediate for his first pair? I’m going up to Lake Tahoe to ski for the second time. I could rent, but I kinda want to have my own pair say under 350 dollars. Would you recommend the Salomon for me?
Thanks for the review Greg! What are your thoughts on the Line Vision 98 as an all mountain ski? I'm a ski instructor with deep freestyle roots, but now days I do a little bit of everything. I only weigh 120lbs at 5'10". I'm looking for the lightest ski I can get away with that will still perform up to standards when bombing doubles, laps in the park, or shredding glades (in Michigan). My knees aren't in the best shape, so lower swing weight will be helpful. The Blade Optic just seems like it might be a little too heavy for what I'm looking for. Thanks again!
Have to agree with mendellang8379 on this; the Vision 98 is lighter than I'd choose to go, especially for harder Michigan snow. The Blade Optic is by no means a "difficult" ski to turn, and I've got a fresh ACL replacement as well.

Great Video evo team. Love the edit and loved Greg’s delivery. Will keep checking back for more content like this from ya’ll
Serious terrain that isn't always covered by soft snow is a pretty good description of Lake Louise, looking like the Atris will be my next ski!

@@jarrettreckseidler talking about the old atris or the new atris?
Skiing lake Louise in February and I’m bringing atris, kartel 108, and woodsman 96. Can’t wait.

What's your or the peoples opinion about the Faction Agent 2.0 for touring and backcountry?
Stokli Stormrider 95. Story over.
I dunno, 102s are fun too
Great call, I admit I have a pair in my personal quiver, but it wasn't on the list of skis the buyers let me choose from!
what's the lightest ski? thanks for the video, you have a really nice voice.
What do you think about the qst 98

Don’t recommend the visions if your not touring. Mine snapped in 5 days from normal use.

I was looking for park skis and they are so expensive😭
