I like the guns, some of the unique characters and some of the more tactical girls, but a lot of these sex-appeal girls I don’t like because the guns feel so out of place with them. Bikini girls don’t belong on the battlefield, all them should have some equipment with them to supply and service their gun.
the ones with those designs are from TETRA which is a company from the game who design most of those NIKKEs for purpose of entertainment but still capable of combat while Elysion design their Nikkes to look tactical and military focus, Missilis NIKKEs are design to work on researching cutting-edge tech but is in the middle between Elysion and Tetra for their NIKKE's design appearance. Most of the NIKKEs don't actually need equipment or armor because their whole body and clothes are the armor since they are not human, the Bikini girls are basically just summer alts of existing NIKKEs for the summer event. also most of the NIKKE sent to the surface are Mass-Produced versions which are the tactical looking ones that hide their face, while the one with unique design have other purposes like being Police officers, maids, Singers, engineers but are still capable of combat. and the other reason is that this is a Anime Waifu fanservice Gacha game made by the ones who made steller blade. however the game isn't all exclusive to fanservice since the story, characters and world building balances it. Also if you're wondering why all playable characters are women (Except for Pascal from the Nier Collab) is because in the lore, they tried to create male NIKKEs from humans but are incompatible and did not survive the transformation or most of the men died off in the lore so the remaining are best fitted to become commanders. hence why the game is called Goddess of Victory since only females are compatible to become and turned into NIKKEs.
@@MidianPOfficialytch I understand there is justification and summer fan service, but just from an artistic/design perspective I don’t like the anime fan service because I feel it makes them look less unique. Every gacha game has a swimsuit or skimpy dress variant and it feels to me a lot of Gacha games nowadays are just recycling stereotypes to hopefully catch some people that it might appeal to rather than making legitimate characters; I can understand, but I don’t like it. I think if they can make clothes and their frames that act as armor, they can make more effective traditional armor. Also a lot of their outfits are just impractical as simply clothes not even military clothing and feel so compromised for sex appeal I can’t take them seriously. They don’t look like armed civilians or casual soldiers in a war zone, they look like strippers in a warzone. As for them being all women I don’t care too much for lore justification, but I still think it’s harder to justify only women being the playable characters for Gacha games that aren’t naval, gun, tank or some real life military equipment based.
