Came back to this song because it had always reminded me of my husband who passed away from leukemia last december 2019. I was 29 and he was 31 when we married on January 2 2019 right after new year, we knew each other since college and had many things in common such as liking kpop, which bought us to this wonderful song that we always listen to together and became our favorite song, and unfortunately he was diagnosed with leukemia months after our marriage, he was losing hope already, he was doing his best to survive for me. But his sickness got the best of him, we sung this song while i was holding his pale hands until his last breath... now i can’t listen to this wonderful song without having tears in my eyes.

예전부터 이 노래 좋아했어서 정말 사랑하던 사람한테 이노래 불러주려고 노래방 가서 처음 두소절 불렀는데 목이 메여서 결국 못부르고 4분동안 반주만 들었다. 너무 사랑해서 너무 좋아했어서 반주 듣는 내내 눈물만 흘렸다. 옆을 보니 그친구도 눈물을 흘리고 있었다.그렇게 서로 많이 좋아했었는데 너무 좋아해서 이별했다.
그녀와 헤어진 뒤로 다시는 못들을 것 같았던 노래였는데 헤어진 지 어느덧 8개월이 지나 이 노래를 다시 들었다. 그때 그 감정들 상황들이 생각이 난다. 그때로 돌아갈 수 있다면 그 사람을 꽉 안아주고 싶다.

솔직히 이 노래는 한국인들이 영원히 사랑할 노래라고 생각해요. 아직 나온지 2년밖에 되지 않았지만 몇십 년 후까지 분명 사랑받을 거라 확신합니다. 아직까지도 우리에게 사랑받는 많은 옛노래들처럼요.. 한마디로 클래식이 될 거예요.

I keep coming back to this a lot. My mom and dad shared the same sweet relationship, and now that he is gone, I can't imagine the kind of pain she is in. He passed away from cancer last year and his dying words were "I'm not going anywhere" to my mom. I can't imagine what she goes through and that makes me feel pathetic sometimes. I hope everyone going through deep sadness finds happiness soon!!
