- This Giant Hospital has been abandoned for 13 years, although certain parts are still used for storage, police training, and other various random things. The hospital was a massive complex with over 12 buildings; including a sports complex with a pool, gymnasium, bowling alley, tennis courts, baseballs fields and more! The location of this place id like to keep private so if you know where it is please keep it to yourself; the property is absolutely massive, an entire square mile! Highland Drive VA Hospital was the best place to work, best care for our Veteran's, and never should have closed. I worked there for 32 yrs. It breaks my heart to see how it has been left to be vandalized and so run down. Thank you for this UTUBE . I hope you get to see the rest of the 15 buildings we had there, all connected by tunnels.

It was the old Highland Drive VA hospital. Worked there for 18 years before they closed it. Wonderful place with great memories.

This was a veterans hospital - psychiatric hospital. Recreation was for a lot of the long term patients.
When did it close?
Very cool video. I know that place very well. Some very strange things go on there at night. Did you find the Morgue?

Veterans hospital - psychiatric , many unfortunate forgotten veterans there. At it’s full capacity in the 1970’s - over 2000 patients were there.

I mean I highly doubt it with the amount of security this place has, there was some slight graffiti in certain areas.

What was the name of the hospital and location?
If you had read the description, you would know that he’s NOT giving out the name and location..... due to the fact of people who go and “explore” without permission and other people who go and mess stuff up with graffiti and damage the rest of the properties like breaking windows to get in
