- Please keep in mind I created this just for fun. For best long-term results make sure that you prime your bag prior to painting, use leather paint and protect with a sealing spray.

I wish I would’ve seen this video before a previous video I watched where the painter used Angelus acrylic leather paint so I ordered it from Amazon and this paint is like liquid colored water. The consistency is so thin I can see right through it.

Hi! I love how it turned out. Can you please tell me if you used a sealant special for leather?
So this video was just for fun. I didn't use the proper paints and I also didn't seal or prep. I just painted with straight acrylic but an update on that it hasn't come off or anything as a few people said it would. The paints you would need are leather paints and as for the proper primer, I don't know
@@lanchendesigns Angelus leather paints makes a leather sealant. But the body of a LV is coated canvas, not leather.
You just upped the value of that purse by at least 50%

Yes they are acrylic paints, if you were wanting to do this yourself you would have to use a primer in order to make the paint stick and I would recommend leather paint.
For this video I was just using what I had just for fun, my paint hasn’t come off at all but I know it’s not the correct paint to use.

Does the paint start cracking/chipping after awhile?
Cracking is not going to happen this material and I haven’t noticed any chipping in the paint either

Amazing-just shocked you used basic acrylic paint and did not prep the bag for longevity and having the paint not peel.
This was on my personal bag just for fun but I haven’t experienced any peeling yet but that would actually be amazing if I could get it off so I could paint something else later!!
