I took all seven of my children to daily Mass whenever my work allowed while they were children, but no as adults; not one of them go to daily Mass and only one is even in a state of Grace. I thought it was because of the evil of these days, but it looks like the same evil was around even back when St. Don Bosco was on earth. I myself being baptized Catholic at age 42 cannot imagine walking away from Jesus: Truly Present in the Holy Eucharist at every Catholic Mass!!! Thanks be to God! Praise be Jesus and Mary! Therefore: I pray the Surrender Novena given to us by Jesus through Fr. Don Dolindo daily; you can find this prayer on u-tube. May God bless You who Love Jesus; Truly Present in the Holy Eucharist!
I have a young family right now. Please tell me what you would do differently now that you can look back on your time with your children. I thought that if I brought my children to Mass often that they would stay with our Lord. Please help my young family with your advice. You and your family will be in my prayers!
@laurenp9155 I was raised anabaptist and Arian. Now I'm a trinitarian and attend catholic mass. I'm not in a state of grace. Please pray for me, for I have grievously sinned and need repentance, and baptism.
Great advice we need good priest like father Saint John Bosco I tell my kids I don’t go on holiday I go on pilgrimage I go for the prayer the peace the Tranquility that comes from prayer.
Thanks for your description of ‘vacation’! I’ve been rethinking vacations lately! I’d rather go on a pilgrimage than a leisurely ‘vacation’ lately. Not sure how to mesh a family vacation with grown kids… 🤔😁
Matthew it is very impressive how you get these videos out every other day, but I am curious how much of the research extra do you do and do others help you out. Thank you very much for all the work you do to bring us the wisdom of St John Bosco.
I work with people who sometimes say impure things as a joke. It's hard to resist such talk. Do you have advice for this? Don Bosco is right to warn people of it.
So accustomed are those who attend Mass today to the culture's norms that both male and female wearing thin underwear as outerwear. T-shirts were once only worn under the shirt to absorb perspiration and provide insulation. Leggings were only worn under outer-wear pants for added warmth. A camisole was either worn as a slip under a blouse or dress, or as sleepwear. Never as a top outside the bedroom or home. Baby-doll`s were short pj`s. These and other under garments, once seen as provocative, are worn by both male and female. Yet, the public is expected not to notice or look at it as inappropriate. Yet, it is intended to seem flattering and get approving attention from both genders. So far from anything resembling modest attire, these trends are signs the culture is way off kilter with trends not seen since the Renaissance in about the sixteenth century.

FOR ME, ST JOHN BOSCO IS THE MOST PRACTICAL SAINTS OF ALL TIMES. I THINK A MANNERS MANUAL FOR US AND OUR CHILDREN MUST BE INSPIRED BY HIM.
