    Wow... Whether I had just forgotten the simplicity of this formula or I had never learned it, this video dusted off the cobwebs. Thank you!

    Oh Jeez, Thank you SO MUCH. I'm a Pre Calc student in Highschool, and I was having some trouble with the behindthescene concepts for some problems
    This helped
    SO MUCH
    My teacher...she explains things in a weird way, and I'm more visual than anything. This was just beautiful, you saved my life

    i really like it that you explain how to get to the formula it really helps understanding it and when you know how to get to the formula you dont really have to learn it because you can always make it yourself.
    i like to know how the formula was made.
    thanks

    @23kbforever I don't mean to chime, but your question is to do with rounding, A^2+B^2 = C^2, so
    C^2 = 180
    C = 180^.5
    C = 13.4 (rounded to one tenth of a foot.)

    @TheFabulousNothing you can use either one as x1 or x2, it will be the same slope. If you think about it graphically I think you'll get it more than mathematically, that you'll have the same slope. And what is x1 vs. what is x2 is arbitrarily chosen.

    well, you fill in what you know into the formula...
    but now you have to work backwards to find x!
    you would start by squaring both sides, and then you would have a quadratic equation to solve.

    Ah i thought this was going to be about the kinematic formulai (the whole s = ut + 1/2at² and s = 1/2t(u + v) being the distance thingys lol) Would be cool if you did a video showing how we get the kinematic formulai =).
    I just did my FSMQ test and there was a couple of questions where i had to use the formula in the video. FUN! =)
