      It goes round and the lift is transferred to the side on which you go up

    This reminds me of that scene in final destination
    But not to be afraid Paternoster lifts are actually smart and not dangerous

    This is actually good tho imagine if there's a lift accident then it falls down so if a lift has no door it's much more easier for us to jump on a certain floor and be fine rather than die cause a lift has no escaping

      Mobil Tren And it wouldn’t even fall down in the first place

      Unless it conks out in the middle of two floors. You then have a lift above and below you.

      It’s not even going to fall down in the first place, let alone the fact you can’t even spell nor punctuate properly…

    I've seen this elevator in a very old movie called metropolis. It was made back in 1927, whoever thought of this concept wasn't thinking of all the accidents that can happen of a constantly moving no doors elevator. To me that thing looks dangerous. Good luck if you are an elderly person or a disabled person in a wheelchair.

    It looks like the elevator runs on free energy. It just required a huge piezo to initiate the free energy circulation.

      There are only a handful of them left in the world.
      I know there is one on Praha. (Prague.) And that is probablly the one in the video. Since he is from the Czech republic.

      Steve Taylor I know that couple of this elevators are in Prag at Ministry of traffic. I also know one in Jablonec nad Nisou in town hall, that is easy to try for people, there is no reception, it is open ;)

      Prague - Ministry of agriculture (not this), I used it daily for cca 1,5 years and stucked it only one time, when carried too big box... Quite safe this type of elevator and of course fast.

    • @Ooo32403
      @Ooo32403 Рік тому

      They still go up. There is a gear that makes it go to the other side that is going down and continues its way

    Imagine slipping while stepping in our stepping out of this elevator, and ended up with your body lying halfway inside elevator and halfway out. Sounds like one of the worst ways to die .....

      They have emergency stops on those elevators just don't want to be going over the top or bottom may take hours to reset and if on Friday night it could be Monday morning before reset.

  • @zx8401ztv
    @zx8401ztv 7 років тому +4

    ooow thats different, the only thing i could see going wrong is if you misjudged it and stuck your toe under the ledge coming down.
    Its clever in the sense that it only has to carry possibly two people, any more and the ti....ming would be wrong to get in LOL.
    Slow and smooth with no sudden jerks (no im not talking about govenmemts lol).

    • @hugeshows
      @hugeshows 5 років тому

      They thought of that. The last 6 inches or so of the platform is on a hinge, your toe will simply lift it out of the way.

      Actually is not. Almost every part which you can harm you is foldable or stop elevator immediately. Clever design. Only down side is that is difficult for very old or disabled people.

    There is one in the GPO in the town of Brno (second largest in Czechia), where I was born, next to the main railway station. When I was a boy we used to play hide-and-seek there. It was fun. I believe it's still there. It would be sad if it wasn't; it's part of the town's history. (My history, anyway. 🥸)
