Only a truly Machiavellian spirit could sit back, stoke his beard, and watch his own creations suffer and die, sometimes in horrific and torturous ways, when he could simply ease that suffering if nothing else. All while we say it must be good for us. I don't buy it anymore. There is no way heaven could be better than when we were together anyway. It is a ruse. It’s a great song. The subtitles in Spanish on this video are really misleading / badly translated though.
Marc, Music has always been a muse and a mystery to me. Why does this song connect to myself more than most others? It brings out emotion and tears, smile and fears. I've been to the valley of death too many times. This can be something scary and yet welcoming at the same time. At times your melody and lyrics haunt me, but I can't stop listening and connecting. Thanks for creating a beautiful song. A song that just might be playing when I take my last breath and move on!
