The bias and tone of this is so one sided I didn't get past a few minutes. It seems like a film made by someone suffering from Commie brainwashing... If you want lots of people forced to make sh!t they not only don't need, but don't actually WANT either, then let The Government/State rule your life and nation... The US New Deal and then Cold War are now joined by more and more MASS FORCED SALES SCAMS.... What we need is a lot less government control of the economy. Y'all need to STOP PAYING TAX, as it's THEFT.. Capitalism is the only socioeconomic policy not based on Rule By Thieving Theft, of The Left or Uber-Right Fascists (same as Lefties, central economic planning THIEVERY).

Very very well done! I never would have guessed that Bernays actually went this far. The 5 month wait for part 2 was suspenseful and well worth the wait.
As for USA's involvement in regime changes, you probably need to make a whole series on it. Nevertheless, I look forward to when it comes out. I hope that your videos will help drive actionable and revolutionary change.

There probably were but not really. Tribes make dubious linages, Monarchs are tied to divine, Republics lie to the public, Theoracies blind people.
The concept of the social structure is a big lie but one that is needed to continue the casuality of life. The norm is the bussines as usual mentality that supports our way of life.

In the case of the U-2 incident, the government outright lied to the US public. Eisenhower owned up to that and essentially said "we've done it before and we'll do it again." Not quite. You recognize that corporations are all trying to manipulate you into spending more than you should on things you probably don't need. Regulation should be kept to a minimum. Corporations and government regulators often work together to craft regulatory ecosystems that benefit the big players at the expense of their competitors.
Government should not be entrusted with too much power. Federal agencies need public transparency, oversight and accountability. After all, it was the CIA and the U.S. government who kept United Fruit in power. It's when government and big business join forces to promote their own interests at the expense of the common man that we're really in trouble.
Fearing tax breaks for the rich should not be a takeaway from this video. Why should we care if others get to keep more of their money? Unless a rich man is literally abusing his employees like United Fruit was, inciting resentment between classes is just another form of manipulation.

@@rhondaherbert9282 Respectfully, my history books tried to be objective and didn't just teach about one side of things. But the failure was in not teaching about more modern scandals and events-- they were in the books, but the teacher deemed it more important to talk about the events from 1600-1800-- something that'd I've already heard a lot of over the course of twelve years and didn't care to hear yet again.
My last history book covered events up to 2016. We just never got that far, and I skipped over most of it in my personal reading.
I don't believe propaganda is *always* the issue with the books (I went to a private school with less standard textbooks) but it is a lot of the time. I think more contemporary works like Permanent Record by Edward Snowden should be required reading, so that many people can have a better understanding of the inner workings of government rather than just memorizing terms and things they've done. :]

It is corporate America, not the communists, that has crushed democracy in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The concept of government isn't terrible. It's a tool to regulate something that isn't working efficiently. The market economy requires regulation to maintain a semi functional environment from veering straight off a cliff. The reason government is corrupt, especially in the US, is because it is bought into like another business. It shows you that we really do have a free market. Who is to say what can and cannot be purchased? Now, with less and less safety nets put in place by the government, we are truly seeing the unraveling of capitalism in its natural form.

When a business has no customers it ceases to exist, unless it can force them to be customers through the government.

In a dictatorship people are compelled and coerced to act in the interests of their rulers and against their own best interests. In a democracy, they are persuaded by increasingly subtle propaganda to act against their best interests and in the interests of their rulers. The only difference in a democracy is that people willingly accept their subjugation, thus reducing the likelihood of violent revolution. FDR in pre-war USA, and Conservatives in post-war UK were equally opposed to socialism, but they understood that unrestrained capitalism is inherently self-destructive and needs fiscal and monetary controls and stimuli to function efficiently. During the last 40 years, the psychopaths running corporations have been let loose to indulge their greed, and if allowed to continue unchecked, they will bring the whole system down with them. What worries me is that capitalism may not be followed by socialism, but by barbarism, and corporate psychopaths cannot be allowed to make the important decisions at such an important time. My only hope is that in an era of instant global communication, state/corporate propaganda is losing its control of the flow of information, but it may not be happening quickly enough.

The Great Depression? What is always left out is the Dust Bowl. It is a double calamity combined with aggressive agricultural practices that tanked the food supply.
Between Henry Ford inventing automation than automating tractors, drove an Ag revolution. That Ag revolution now feeds the planet. We have lifted billions out of poverty, including the Chinese themselves. When the US and Britain created global shipping by building the Panama and Suez canals, we opened up Asia including Japan, and then China, who we gave our jobs too, it was the only way they could industrialize.
Our policing of the oceans and protection of the shipping lanes eliminated piracy and famine except for countries that are still disrupted. It has ensured the delivery of medication, food, steel, fertilizer, and clothes to the planet.
Overall global conflicts have been down 30% for the past 50 years.
Our medical technology has saved the lives of millions. But then you people love to sit on your American invented and delivered technology and communication systems that we shared and ensured the delivery of. You are free to give all these evil contaminated items up. Because I already know what rabid hypocrites you are with absolutely no integrity or self respect.

Don’t worry. I’m sure our Globalist did it. Sorry. American is ground zero for the Globalists who have a strangle hold on us; right now.
