I really like the Giro Article in terms of fit, but it does fog up compare to Smith I/O Mag XL. However the Smith does not fit as good, especially OTG. Just got a Revo 8, will see how that compares.
Very helpful info, especially for someone like myself who needs prescription goggles, I found out you offer the inserts, but all your pop up windows (on chrome version on my iPhone anyways) are extremely frustrating! I can’t get rid of them and continue using your site to pick the right goggles 😫
I recently bought the Anon M5 goggles, they are great but the bonus lens doesn't come with a case, do the M5 have a lens case? If not, can you suggest me alternative lens case? Thanks upfront!
Hello! For the price, the Squad is one of the most feature-packed affordable goggle options out there. The 'Everyday' category of lenses is a great all-around option for multiple types of lighting conditions, including sunny days and sparse clouds/some overcast. For whiteout days or heavy cloud cover, you'll likely want to switch to a low light lens under Smith's 'Storm' category, which is included with most Squad goggle purchases! 👉www.sportrx.com/smith-squad-snow-goggle.html🔥
so miss my smiths that had fan... as much as i love my googels and rx insert i got from you guys ... they still fog some times .. that smiths with fan never fogged if fan was going
Just curious...Have you checked out the Boll'e Nevada Neo with the phantom + lens?? I own Anon M4, Line miner & Julbo Aerospace. All have great lenses, but the Phantom+ is another level! Imho 🙂🤙
Dear Sport-Rx, i wish you could include next goggle recommendations a pair of Scott amplifier technology goggle - especially the "Shield Amp Pro" this lens tech is most underrated and changed my understanding of vision
I use the MFI hanger in my Black Strap balaclavas. Game changer! Just cut a tiny hole in the seam and thread the hanger in and center it. I use the thinner one on warm days and thicker on cold days. No more dealing with sunscreen on the face and neck. Keeps from getting windburn and cracked dried lips! Less material hanging around your neck than the Anon MFI and stays secure to your head.
Hey Rob and SportRx, I had a pair of m4. Unfortunately, someone stole them technically right in front of me as I went to get condiments for my lunch. I was looking into getting the M5 but also looking into the Smith 4d mag. Would love to hear your feedback between the difference between the m4 and m5 are against each other and also how the Smith 4d mag compares to Anons? Thank you.
Hey Kyle. Sorry to hear that! The M4 is a bit larger in size compared to the M5. If you're used to the fit of the M4, i might recommend sticking with it. The Smith 4D is a great goggle and the chromapop lens tech delivers amazing clarity and contrast. The curved lens at the bottom does grant a bit more visual range, but when looking directly down or through that portion of the lens, you may notice a bit of distortion. Some people do not notice this, however. As far as sizing goes, the 4D sits right in between the m5 and m4 (maybe slightly leaning towards M4) and sits a bit closer to the face. You can't go wrong with either option, they're both awesome goggles.
I’ve been rocking the smith I/o mag xl’s for the past 3 seasons and have fell in love with the chromopop tech. Only problem is they don’t have MFI and I really want to get the Anon m5 specifically for that. I’m afraid that Anon’s lens tech is inferior to Smiths if I switch over, how does chromopop compare to anon’s perceive?
I think the Perceive is very close to on par to chromopop. The MFI and overall durability is the winning factor. That said, if you wear the XL, get the M4, not the M5.
Those are awesome too! Amazing field of view and very comfortable. You might argue they are better then the Lineminer, I just personally like the aesthetics of the Lineminer more. Just remember, if you want to interchange the lenses, Flightdeck is maybe the hardest goggle to switch lenses on I have ever seen.
Welcome back guyz!!! That about TOP 2 peripheral view (for a huge guy...) and TOP 2 of contrast of them (especially low light cond...) ? ))) Thanks! Is the Flight Deck and Path has something wrong to stay away the chart? Is Anon M4 bigger then M5?
Hey! Thanks for the warm wishes! Good to be back! For exceptional peripheral views and high levels of contrast, you can't go wrong with the Line Miner L. The Prizm Garnet lens is great mid-VLT option to accommodate a wide array of lighting conditions too. The Flight Deck and Path offer an amazing range of view paired with Prizm tech. The Spherical lens shape reduces the chances of perceived distortion as well. Some folks think they're a bit bulky, but still a great option all around. The M4 fits bigger than the M5. Hope this helps!
@@sportrxeyewear Interesting to know all Oakley are pretty close.. as i thought.. the question is just for a colour and taste.. )) I think the lineminers time is over of the flight tracker. Hello! While we haven't tested them together, the Norg should pair well with the Vantage helmet. However, there's a chance of the top of the goggle chassis coming into contact with the helmet's brim extension. If you're able to try them together, let us know how it goes!
Hi! They shouldn't fall apart as long as they're stored properly in a case and in a spot with consistent temperature levels. There have been instances where someone leaves their goggles exposed in a dry climate which can potentially cause the foam to become brittle and disintegrate.
Very helpful review thank you, but is there any chance that you can do review of React sight 2.0 sky goggles. I'm very interested of yours opinion. Thank you
Hello! Glad you found it helpful! We've unfortunately not yet had the chance to get our hands on that particular goggle, but they do look to have some pretty cool features.
They're a decent budget goggle. Some have reported that the materials break down at a faster rate than higher end brands. The tints look cool, but lack some of the contrast-enhancing visuals you find with other lens technologies.
The main difference has to do with the foam and magnets. The Elite uses 6 strong magnets that connect the lens to the chassis for a more secure and rigid hold. The regular Marauder's magnets do the same, though they don't provide the same amount of force connectivity. The other notable difference with the Elite version has to do with the armoured venting at the top of the goggle, adding an extra layer of protection and making it more difficult to tear or damage the foam beneath the woven cover. Is it worth the price difference? I'm particularly hard on my goggles so i'd say yes, however if you're a weekend warrior with a habit of taking care of their equipment, you'll likely get by just fine with the regular Marauder. 👉www.sportrx.com/spy-marauder-snow-goggle.html 👉www.sportrx.com/spy-marauder-elite-snow-goggle.html
Nothing wrong with Dragon Goggles! Their foam protection around the top vents on some of their goggles is second to none. The lens tech does fall short compared to some other brands, however. Still, overall a great goggle option for the price.

The 100 Percent Norg has not failed me with fogging. Anon and Foakley have failed repeatedly. Anon does not have protection on the top foam like Giro, Dragon, 100 percent and others. The biggest failure point if you ride powder, in rain, or a crash. The double lens is more robust than the others and the color/clarity is superior to all others. Fact

thats a cheap deal, where did you buy it?
For the umpteenth year in a row the award goes to Smith 4d Mag. UN-BEATABLE.😅
100% needs to come out with a magnetic face cover too that thing is sick!
I got my inserts this year, GAME CHANGER! 🔥
Awesome! 🤘🏂🏼🔥😎
Do you have to do the inserts when the goggles are brand new or can you get them done after the goggles have been used?
As long as the goggles are not damaged and can hold a prescription insert, then they don't have to be brand new!
