One of my most favorite things in the world is to take my kids on hunts or fishing trips and watch their passion for the outdoors grow! This trip was extra special because we had the whole family in Colorado.
Absolutely! To share the outdoors with your family is priceless. To be able to share the beauty of the land is amazing. And, handcuffing your kid to the bed is definitely necessary at times..🤣🤣🤣 Love seeing the excited looks on those young faces, especially Gage when you wake him up 😆
What a great family adventure..Great movie/video. I remember the first time I hunted with my two daughters. It was a great adventure and they both still hunt with their husbands and kids. Love your shows.
Was not a buck bed buck tracks leave a Capital B because all bucks have them on the bottom of their hooves that leaves that imprint on the ground 🤣😂. Great family video making memories with your kids is the great thing to do.
With GSY5 coming up bringing through Y4. You guys are defiantly one of the better youtube hunting groups. Fun to see the family hunts too thanks for letting us tag along Casey. Funny to see how everyone has the same humor.
Casey! You’re a typical dad!! The boy is cold but you don’t seem to even notice his jacket is not zipped up😂 only a thin sweatshirt to keep him warm. C’mon dad!! Fun watching your family.
If you guys get a deer or not this is what hunting is all about. Sharing it with the future generations and that is multiplied that you include all of your children. That is very cool and the memories I still have of going hunting with my dad when I was a young boy still resonate with me still today. Way to go Casey and the best of luck for Bralee killing a monster!!!
This is by far the most relatable hunt you've ever posted to UA-cam, as a guy who hunts and fishes with his kids and other youth all the challenges that you had are REAL! Can't even count how many times I've been on a hunt and some buddy forgets something pretty important. And come on poor little Winston with his hand me down crappy camo, hang in there kid your time is coming!
I’ve got a tip for you. I’ve flyfished and hunted mid-winter for 50 years. If your feet are cold, put another layer on your TORSO! That’s the best way to get your extremities warm…make sure the core is VERY warm. I noticed his coat was unzipped and his feet were cold. First step: Zip up the coat.
Moon boots and bread sacks. I certainly do not miss those days. I absolutely love how your kids give you crap, they obviously have a great teacher. Positive attitudes help make memories too. Best of luck. Cheers
When my boy was young and hunting with me I would pack a sleeping bag and stuff him in when we set up. When you hunt with your family are some of my favorite episodes. Thank you for sharing your outdoor family time.
Omg…love the family adventures! What the heck is up with the handcuffs?🤷♂️ had me cracking up! Then, the mittens on the feet…love it! Whatever it takes! Keep those kiddos happy while they are young and they will be by your side on future hunting trips! I used to pack in a ground blind with a portable heater to keep them warm! Not convenient, but it worked!
That kids hunts are awesome. Nothing better than taking some youngsters out hunting. Keep up the hard work Casey. You doing a great job, raising some good kid there. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)
Good job getting the kids out and thanks to your wife on agreeing with the trip. Hopefully you had some great family time along with the hunt and a fantastic Thanksgiving meal. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the series!
I always tried to make my childrens outings enjoyable and relaxing=fun, now as married with families themselves they all love multiple types of outdoor activities, camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
Mr Casey you sir have beautiful kids!!! Good for you man getting them out in the woods, memories and lessons for a lifetime not only for you but of course for them. Love it brotha!! I hope someday I have a few of my own🤷. Not looking likely tho lol
Great hunt, and good on ya for having the young ones involved. For what it’s worth I’ve always made a practice of making sure everyone in the hunting party has the legal requirements for orange, especially on the kids to instill the importance of that. Even on private land. Just my $.02. Keep up the good work.
Regs and prep for those should be done before. Hopefully kids will have a great day. Buck tracks seem to have dew claw mark so I say doe. Good luck with that leather interior.
Hush JR are definitely not “first lite” fans, sleepy heads hahaha. Great advice at the end around keeping the youngsters happy! Excited for the next eppy!
Wow….. I’ve taken my family on hunts before. Granted I live in midwestern Illinois. That only takes a little scouting…… that being said. I’ve hunted deer here most of my life. 🤓 this whole western hunting is very different. I’ve been to Colorado twice elk hunting……. First trip, great. Second trip……. Not so much. Thanks for your video!
Found a pair of retro moon boots on Etsy. Wish I could post a pic.. Lol Cold feet are the worst.. My feet always get cold. Especially hunting from a saddle. Good luck
People always ask me why I don't sit in the woods all day with my kids, and my response is that is they're cold and miserable it's no fun for them and why would they want to be hunting if it's not fun. They have the rest of their lives to be a die hard hunter, not when they are 5 and 9. Well done. Great memories are always made regardless of the amount of time in the woods.
Not to sound old because I'm not. But I love the family oriented hunts. But nothing has topped the New Zealand series. I've watched it at least 20 times already.
Landowner tags limited to the lands owned? What kind of unheard sorcery is that? Seems like a great idea. Idaho should look into that so then they can legally sell their tags!
I'm looking forward to taking my granddaughter hunting at 6 years old now she loves to go grand MA calls her my shadow. We drive RCtrucks alot together at 65 I still keep up with my shadow.
His feet are cold because his upper body is losing heat. He needs to zip up, keep the stocking cap & hood snug, and walk around a bit. Yes, better boots & socks will help, but if your upper body is losing heat, your protective system will shut down blood flow to the extremities and redirect it to the vital organs; hence, cold feet and hands. Get him some better boots, & merino wool socks, stocking cap, and long underwear. Make sure he always has his hat & hood covering his head, and keep his jacket zipped shut. He’ll be fine then.
I know a guy who TRULY believes that trophy deer only move on Thanksgiving day and has talked his wife into moving Thanksgiving dinner to the next day 🤦🏽♂️😆
I feel that money should of went to public land there so much more public land that need the same thing from last year fire. But I guess if it was my money and my friends private property that I hunt every year I would re seed it to so the animals come back to me I feel the land owner could have reseeded there own property and hush should have help the public. but l ike I said if u hunt it every year it benefits u why not they need footage next year if no food no animals no footage next year. Always best hunting with fam great video keep it up hush Jr.
In the end, Dad has to take at least some of the responsibility for the forgotten vest. He is the one with enough experience to know what is needed for any given hunt, and he should be checking the kids to make sure they have what they need before leaving the base camp (or in this case a rental). Kids will almost always forget something, so Dad needs to go through a checklist with them to make sure they are prepared. Noticing that the vest was missing AFTER you are on the mountain is just a little bit too late. I have seen kids forget guns and ammo as well as essential clothing. It makes for a frustrating hunt if you don't check them.
Or Dad just requires his kids to be responsible and accountable. I’m not about this new “culture” of kids being so babied that they aren’t responsible for what they are doing. I’ll hold my kids responsible because it will help them become the humans that will change the world.
@@gethushin You will teach that best by taking responsibility for your part as well. There is nothing wrong with teaching responsibility, but it is best taught by example.
@@gethushin I understand both sides here but I have to lean more towards Casey! For one he told them to leave the stuff in the back. Secondly if there always being reminded and checked they will never take it upon there selves to think about and go through the stuff needed ahead of time! I can tell you myself after forgetting an essential item once sometimes but rarely a second thing I don’t do it again!
One of my most favorite things in the world is to take my kids on hunts or fishing trips and watch their passion for the outdoors grow! This trip was extra special because we had the whole family in Colorado.
Got an almost 2 year old daughter and another baby on the way due here soon, and I can’t wait to take them all hunting and get my wife her first deer!
Absolutely! To share the outdoors with your family is priceless. To be able to share the beauty of the land is amazing. And, handcuffing your kid to the bed is definitely necessary at times..🤣🤣🤣 Love seeing the excited looks on those young faces, especially Gage when you wake him up 😆

13:35 always heard the guessing if buck or doe tracks is a bunch of crap. I could see it more as fawns vs mature deer.
Casey! You’re a typical dad!! The boy is cold but you don’t seem to even notice his jacket is not zipped up😂 only a thin sweatshirt to keep him warm. C’mon dad!!
Fun watching your family.

We agree. Love getting the youth excited about the woods!

Kid handcuffed to the bed had me rolling. Funny stuff

Awesome video and good job getting the kids out there! You’re right if you make it miserable they won’t be excited to go again.
👍🏻 for moon boots (we call them bunny boots). I still use mine every year for hunting out of a blind in the UP of Michigan.
Winston handcuffed to the bed. Real boss. Tough to keep the little guys warm!
Omg…love the family adventures! What the heck is up with the handcuffs?🤷♂️ had me cracking up! Then, the mittens on the feet…love it! Whatever it takes! what a humorous InVESTigation of the missing orange.
Another great video Casey. Was surprised to see how much Gage looks like Logan. Waiting anxiously for #32.
I am impressed with the positive reaction once the orange was found missing. Good work!
Omg🤣🤣🤣 I forgot about the handcuffs holy moly🤣🤣🤣🤣
I about died when i woke him up.

The joys of hunting with kids and adults sometimes right there 😆 Worth it to get the kids outdoors though 😎👍🏼
Handcuffed to the bed killed me 😂😂
So nice to have fun with your family
Are we just going to over look the handcuff boy in his bed.. 😳😂😂😂
You got to get Winston in the videos more often, from antelope ball snacks to handcuffing himself to the bunk bed. Your killing me Winston! 🤣🤣🤣
That Winston is one cute little guy. So cool to see kids out hunting 👍.
Agreed! He keeps everything interesting and fun!
"Do you have a good feeling about tonight?"
"Wait what are we having for dinner?" -Winston 😂😂😂

It sounds like you did it right then!

The thing I least expected was to see the kid on the top bunk to be handcuffed to the bed😂👌🏼
A Nissan Armada🤣🤣🤣
Good luck Brailee!
Dude. Love your parenting skills! Family man myself in Pinedale, Wyoming. Keep it up brother....
I really tried to cherry pick my outdoor trips to share with my kids. Pronghorn with lots of snacks. Maybe this year a late cow elk hunt. Maybe.
Hush JR are definitely not “first lite” fans, sleepy heads hahaha. Great advice at the end around keeping the youngsters happy! Excited for the next eppy!
“Are you handcuffed to the bed ?” 😂😂😂
Wild night for the Hush Jr crew 🤪
Can I put a mule deer carcass in the back! 😂 😂 😂

He would of got lost for sure
I'm looking forward to taking my granddaughter hunting at 6 years old now she loves to go grand MA calls her my shadow. We drive RCtrucks alot together at 65 I still keep up with my shadow.
Awesome👌🏼👍🏻
Our company rents Nissan armadas they suck. Summer tires in the winter weather does not work.
How TF are you just going to skip over lil dude being handcuffed to the bed ?!
Honestly i had no words at the moment!
Casey speechless…. Are you handcuffed to the bed?
Had me crying! Is this episode PG ? 😜 love it , get outta bed boys !

100 acres my butt. More like a couple thousand.
That specific piece of land we were hunting that day was only 167 acres. Just looked it up on OnX.
Nissan junk
What’s braille’s number🤣
