I'm from Venezuela and my country is a neighbor of Saba (it has a marine boundary treaty with the Netherlands) so it is very interesting for me because it is a very small island but the walk made it look bigger.
@@mermer3168 there arent a whole lot of emergencies (assuming you mean medical), but when there were, it was a rush against time, as we dont really have a hospital on island, usually people are loaded onto a helicopter and taken to the st maarten hospital.
@@mermer3168 with people, everyone knows everyone a lot of the time, people can be rude or annoying, but theres also great people there, ive got a lot of good friends there
And now for something complete different for you two-Saba. Very different than the other islands, cays you have experienced so far in your journey. Good to see you both enjoyed it too. It's not low and flat that's for sure. Couple of other cruisers brought Saba into our lives. The 3 towns, the culture of it's people, that long hike to the top, even a drone shot from the very top has added something different from the norm when cruising the Island chains- so far. A treasure into itself. Other mountainous terrain for you both to come with the next couple of islands you visit. Try not to stub a toe in those sandals now Stephanie. You will have to find... a light house for Travis to explore "safely" in your journey forward too- just say'n. I have enjoyed your videos very much to date, they improve with each episode and new camera gear doesn't hurt the production content either. Stay safe- will check back in again soon on the next new environment changes for Jibsea. Where to next?
Saba looks lovely. Its nice that you were made to feel welcome. Travis, you are mad. When I saw how high you climbed up that rock I was frightened. Then you jumped off!! Thankfully my heart managed to keep going. Please try not to kill yourself. I enjoy watching your channel.
Wow! What a hike up and down that 23% grade, tired me out just watching..lol. Nice little town. No way would I carry anything up those steps. Nice underwater Vid. and cliff jumping, no thanks if I had to climb that. Be Safe, see ya soon.
my husband visited Saba in 1973. He talks about it often. He's 72 and would like to see it again. Love to The Bottoms!!
Amazing video, thank so much for the history of the place. What a beautiful place for a young person. A lot of great footage.

I have near zero chance of dying from myocarditis.🙂
To you tube: change my v name 2 Vic. & Use dark green colour instead of this present one. Tks.
This episode was a total flip flop fail….
🩴 on all the ⛰ ! 🤣🤣
actually Mopian in the grenadines is the smallest Caribbean island ,nice try .
we’ve been to mopion but we meant more so an island fully inhabited :)
it's pronounced sah bah not say bu
in Saba, the locals advised us they refer to their island as 'say-ba'. In the Netherlands, they refer to Saba as 'sah ba'
The locals should learn Dutch first if they want to be part of The Netherlands
"jibsea" is such a cruddy antiziganist name
