- Today's deliberate mistake is thinking Newark is in Lincolnshire. It's in Nottinghamshire :D
Can you name and comment which aircraft are in this video?

Nice to see one of the rarer six engined (four piston and two jet) Shackleton’s, the one at Newark had the Phase 3 mod carried out with Viper turbojets installed in the outboard engine nacelles.
Polished presentation as always. Nice to see a Vickers Varsity so immaculate & under cover. Thank you 😊
Used to work at antiques fair across the way ,could see the vulcanised all the time ,first went there in 1980,s
09:04 Avro Shackleton next to that RAF Transport Command Handling Page Hastings
What a coincidence, I was there yesterday afternoon from about 1.30, had been to East Kirkby in the morning.
Nottinghamshire. Not Lincs which is the official "bomber county" based on the number of bomber bases in WW2 in Lincs. Newark Air Museum is based at former. RAF Winthorpe in North East Nottinghamshire, just off the road to Newark. Yes I am biased as its super local to me but its so good. The people are all volunteers and open up many of the exhibits so visitors can actually sit in the aircraft and feel like pilots or aircrew which as far as I know, no other UK Air museum does. Totally great day out for anyone interested in aviation, especially cold war era jets 👍😁
saw my first Vulcan bomber at Diego Garcia island BIOT in 1971. Making an airdrop of mail to british submarine at anchor, Quite a remorable experience for this U.S. Navy sailor
It certainly is something to behold
The Victor imo is one of the mot beautiful planes ever built. I seen one in Duxforfd ages ago..
10:55 Buccaneer, Halifax and Lancaster models with Tallboy and Grand Slam bombs in front of Lancaster, Mosquito model, Saab Jaktviggen plus Mig 31 models, Lockheed Starfighter models, B1 bomber model plus F117 and two F35s behind it, Panavia Tornado, F15 Strike Eagle F14 Tomcat and another F15, (oh blimey four Soviets.. errmmmm), De Havilland Dart?, Dragon Rapide?, Westland Wasp, English Electric Lightning, Westland Wessex, Chipmunk, another Halifax, two more Lancasters, Miles Magister, Westland Whirlwind, Avro Shackleton, Vulcan, Saturn V (OK not an areoplane but it flies :) ), Fairey Gnat next to a Sea Venom(?), EE Lightning, Skyhawk, (oh hell I should know that one with the offset canopy), (models all labelled so no challenge :) ).
The Red Barrows reminded me of my late father's TA unit, part of the Home Service Force. He said the emblem was a Winged Bluebottle, with the motto 'Who Cares Who Wins?' *LOL*
Models in the case starting at 2:59 Eurofighter Typhoon, 3:03 USAF F-104, 3:15 looks like an Abrams M1A2 with 2 Willys, 3:21 F-117 Nighthawk Stealth fighter with what looks like a U.S. Naval aircraft carrier, 3:27 looks like left the F-35 Lightning II right F-22 Raptor with another F-117 Nighthawk Stealth fighter and the B-2 Spirit bomber, 3:32 CH-47 Chinnok helicopter, F-14 Tomcat, F-18 Hornet, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-15 Eagle, 3:38 MQ-9 Reaper UAV, SR-71 Blackbird, MiG-23MS, Su-35, 3:53 plane in the background if a Monospar ST-12, 4:06 Lee-Richard Annular monoplane, 6:10 Bell 47/h-13 Sioux helicopter, 6:24 WEstland Whirlwind HAS.7, 8:41 Aerospatiale SA 330, 9:40 Cessna 310, 11:52 Saturn V rocket that launched the Apollo missions
Wow. You are bang on it. How cool is that
The Russian aircraft museum in Monino is also quite impressive
As my surname is Liddell, I’d love to go see that letter.
They need to rescue the Blackburn Beverley from Fort Paul.
What a great place.
That letter... it was heartbreaking
It was. I was reading it as I was filming. So sad
Very good 👍 hope you remembered to wave to Christian.
Thank you.
good vid on the channel nice place to go thanks lee
Very nice and interesting👍
oh my god ambatakum 😮😮😮
What a shame that so many have to be outside in all weather conditions, that will do them no good whatever 😢. I could name about 5 of them. My sadly late friend André would have been able to name most if not all of them.
The Sea Vixen and Gannet have had a new coat of paint put on. I know because i’m the one who painted them 😅
Cooooolll
