This is just a small sample of what The Rose can do. If you want to see other facets of this band I recommend: Back to Me, You’re Beautiful, Cure, She’s In The Rain (the song that made them famous), Childhood, Sour, Red, and their debut song, Sorry. One of their lead singers, Woosung also has 2 solo albums.
This song during their concert was crazy - we all went crazy when they play just the instruments!! They are so multi-talented - singing and playing instruments (they also dance)! More songs!
If you're curious about this being played live, they are currently on tour for their Dual album and this song is on the setlist. Just look up Dawn to Dusk Tour.
The Rose does have two singers: Woosung (Sammy) has the husky voice while Dojoon (Leo) has the brighter tone. Their drummer is Hajoon (Dylan) and their bassist is Jaehyeong (Jeff). A lot of their newer music is mixed English and Korean lyrics since the two lead singers are fluent in English, however, their older stuff when they were under a Korean label is predominently Korean - they had to sue their label to become independent and were on hiatus for those 2 years while the members did their mandatory military service. In general, they aren't that popular in Korea because they are a band and not idols, however, they've become pretty popular overseas in the last 2 yrs. They also write and produce all their own music and play all their own instruments. It's actually funny watching them play live because Dojoon is usually surrounded by guitars, a keyboard, and piano that he has to switch between for their setlists. Their music also encompasses a wide range of genres, so there's really something for everyone.
I didn't realize how many instruments Dojoon played, literally, until the concert last week. 3 guitars, piano, keyboard, mic stand. My daughter and I kept laughing every time he switched instruments, we were like, how many is he going to play??? This song live was awesome, I can't describe exactly what they did during the dub-step part, it sounded really techno and loud, but it was awesome. I just found them with this song Alive, only to discover that my daughters had been listening to them for a couple of years on their playlists.
I was literally just describing the stage setup to my husband and said, you got Hajoon and his drumset, Jaehyeong with his base, Woosung and his guitar and then there's Dojoon in the "music store" on the right. 😂 ❤ 🌹 I saw them in Houston. What a show!!! 🥰
@@julieiven1396 I know we met some sweet girls (ladies) next to us too! Loved the Jaehyeong b-day celebration! Did you sign that b-day flag too at the pop-up event the day before? We literally had no idea it was actually going to end up onstage! Then I was half-tempted to go to the Austin show this week with my other daughter (she went!), but, work/life, haha!! I added #LoveRoyClub to the flag if you've been following that whole deal on IG. My husband rolled his eyes.
Mi Banda Hermosa se ha Convertido en un Fenómeno Musical ellos Merecen sus Reconocimientos Plissss todas sus canciones son Demasiadas Hermosas Son Únicos Su Sonido es Muy Espectacular 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
The Rose is amazing. This album has exploded. Back to Me you’d probably really love. The best thing they ever did was to leave their agency and go out on their own. I highly suggest listening to their full album.
Just went to The Rose Concert on Friday, and yes, they allowed the soundtrack to do the shift. Recommend also yo check out Onewe "Aurora" the are KBand like the Rose, would love to hear your opinion on the drum and guitar solo
Kpop is a very BROAD definition that encompasses almost any song released in Korean. Even ballad singers that are not "pop" are classified as Kpop... so the genre of "Kpop" is less of a definition of genre and more of a region of music. I usually just say "indie rock band from Korea" because it's way more accurate.
I am so sick of Western reactors always saying that music from Korean artist are just rip offs of tge " superior" western groups. No. You did not use those actual words but everything reminded you of an American group. Good bye. I am not going to waste my time

I laughed out loud in the bus when you said "30 Seconds of Summer" 😂 (it's 5, not 30) I see where you're coming from though
That was a massive WTF face, lol
Please react to the rose live performance
