Very Nice Anekant Ji...I am from Delhi and Trust me mostly jains are looking for rich guys for there daughter.Many jain girls are unmarried and just taking degrees and degress.
3 children per couple is needed to correct the course. Community n society has to subsidize the 3rd child s education, health are n mothers nutrition n well being.

हमारी सोच से जैन धर्म का उद्देश मुख्यतः अहिंसा आचरण और व्यवस्था का प्रसार करना। और अहिंसा आचरण का प्रसार कराने सिर्फ जैन धर्म की संख्यात्मक वृद्धि कराने की जरूरत नहीं है। सरकार स्वयं हिसंक व्यापार को बढ़ावा दे रही है।
लड़कियों की शादी की शर्ते और स्थिति से हम सहमत हु। जब कोई बेटी शादी उपरांत मां होती है तो दुनिया में आनेवाला नया बच्चा की जिम्मेदारी लेने बच्चे के माता पिता से कोई तो एक बच्चे की जिम्मेदारी लेने बच्चे साथ कम से कम पांच साल तक कायम रहना आवश्यक है। सरकार कोई नियम क्यो नही बनाती की जिससे कारण बच्चे साथ माता या पिता से कोई एक साथ रहे।

(stop stereotyping patriot) Obsessed about money, wealth, property,assets n material prosperity... We don't give a damn on census I. E, social n demographic parameters n releted concerns arising therefrom,the existential challenge we r facing.in nutshell making it to SENSEX is more important for us than CENSUS....or to put in another way ECONOMIC FACTORS matter a lot more than SOCIAL factors... let alone d Demographic factors related to our sheer existence which are relegated to the margins
Stop patriot stop how come u arrived at such an streched explanation (conclusionary essence of lecture actually) from an easily avoidable, unimp n inconspicuous mistake of prof? Well that's me , lil eccentric n nerdish. . . .
Nevertheless the lecture was very informative n insightful for viewers though I already knew most of the things but it gives me hope that ppl like u are alive who are opening eyes of jains on existential issue rather participating in bids for collecting money to build or heighten the temple..... Frankly speaking I'm still pessimistic on this front though eg from Israel gives a beacon of light.... Keep posting such lectures n make a association of like minded ppl n share these ideas with gurus n Influential ppl of community to apply a top-down approach to address this problem....

6th- 7th cen me jain Dharma ki population 40 crore ke paas thi lekin Shankaracharya ne bahut sare jain sadhuo ko maar diya jisse jain Dharma ki population bahut kam huyi.
