It's the landing from dunking/jumping that effects the knees most. I'm 6'3 and used to jump high. as i got to my early 20's i developed knee issues i'm now 44 and haven't dunked since i had my 1st knee surgery at 24.
You can find my earliest videos on my channel of me on a trampoline... 16 years ago. I got my knee reconstruction 12 years ago. Hurts every day!

My brother played baseball from the age of 4yr to his early 20’s. He had to stop because his back got too bad. He can’t even mow the lawn without his back going out on him. I’m going to recommend he see a chiropractor. I’ve watched enough of her videos to see this could actually work for him!

@shaybaby2427 that sounds like a wonderful idea for your brother. They can do great things. Just please check them out before actually letting them “crack” you. I had a bulging disc that was herniated and had to have surgery. But I still believe in the practice, just more careful 😊 good luck to your brother. Pray he feels better soon.
There's a very famous powerlifter and trainer that recently died , Louie Simmons.
He messed up his back powerlifting in the 70s or 80s and then invented a back training machine .
Just search right here in UA-cam "Louie Simmons back machine " and watch a few of those videos .

I need something like this for my feet and left butt muscle. I know both have tons and tons of scar tissue. My feet especially are a disaster. I wish I knew who to go to who is as good as Dr. Mondragon.

Think some more feedback from him would have really helped you get to the source he doesn't necessarily know the dynamics but seeing him actually play some shots you'd get a clearer idea of his twisting to get the ball in. Some of these guys when they dunk the legs are one way the shoulders the other. Which repeated as you say is lo King up the otherside for the future. I believe all sport need to try to encourage balance in their athletes. A balanced body is healthier for longer. They'd be playing sports longer. Potentially earning for longer. If only theyd make sure they were training & stretching & massaging in a balanced way. He seeing sports people having shorter careers anyone really because we're all stronger on one side. While healthh I trained equally. Alot on unilateral work to ensure balance. Injury wise I am wrwcked but nothing from training. Mostly from DIY, gardening, being knocked off my bike twice & car accidents. Falls way too many to mention.
