Hell yeah! This song still makes my hair stand up on my neck ! ROCK O N forever!! I'm 70 now. 😊
Imagine writing a song to simultaneously capture rage, joy, terror and bliss. If your are brilliant, you write this, and cause a million speeding tickets.
Cult = one of top 10 bands of my life
Billy and his White Falcon... What a sound!
The Old Grey Whistle Test was the greatest live music show ever. Especially the 70's episodes with Bob Harris.
I love this song especially live
Bands tended to play superbly at TOGWT. This is no exception.
Classics always stand the test of time.
the mix is sooooo good
Wow!! I'm 45yo and this brings back so many memories from my youth!!!
Lol right!! I literally just bought the cd again so I could have better sound in the truck bc I love them so much. 😎🤘 (I'm 38)
Billy’s hair is a work of art! 😆 Lucky to have seen them 5x and still sound great!
the hairspray makes my eyes burn, makes my eyes burn yeah!
One of the greatest tunes I’ve ever heard!! Gave alx a run for his money there! Skid row forever
Saw them in Vegas a few weeks back... They still kill it!
Blew me away when they led into Steppenwolf....Holy mother of kick ass rock!!!
Love that She Sells segues into Born To Be Wild!! Ian Astbury was probably the most handsome man in rock back then! Great frontman and singer, full of charisma and great energy! Billy Duffy's a brilliant guitarist and has some of the GREATEST riffs in Rock. Wonderful video!
Billy and Steve Stevens may be the 2 most underrated guitarist in rock and they're both insane guitarist!
Ian is THE most beautiful man in Rock for me! Yes, even at 60! He looks amazing now and that voice! Wow! He can still belt out the songs! ❤💖
It’s too bad they got lost in the shuffle, but look at how many awesome acts we were exposed to in that short period of time between 86 and 90. What a great time rock ‘n’ roll fan.
She sells sanctuary by the sea shore.
Love this tune.
So awesome I saw them wayyy back when they were The Southern Death Cult.
One of my favorite bands and Sanctuary is one of my favorite songs from my youth
Sounds more rocky than the record, I guess That's the Marshalls and Les Paul!

Well, that was a surprise! Awesome though! Love this band. Thanks for posting 🎸
What a banging tune!!😎❤️
Great band
I was at University of Illinois in Champaign in 1986 and I remember my roommate bought the “electric” album which came out in early 1987. It was absolute bliss. I absolutely love she sells sanctuary. Finally able to play it on guitar. MTV was huge and actually played good music videos but later started playing much too much rap and hip-hop, ugh!
yeahh!
Wow; just wow!
This is the greatest fight song ever.. makes me want to go back to high and find my highschool bully..
Band members :
Beethoven - Guitar
Geronimo - Vocals
James Dean - Drums
Richie Sambora - Bass
They don't make them like that anymore sadly😢
OMFG happy days ♥️
KILLER 🌹 PERFORMANCE!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Surprised Billy's using a Gibson on Sanctuary when he wrote it with a Gretsch. This was the Electric Tour....that's right.
Espetacular!!!!
I swear I saw him SO MANY TIMES at the Limeridge Mall in Hamilton..
AWESOME
Thank you! Muito obrigado 🇧🇷
I’ve always liked this one, never can remember the title. Usually hear it on the radio and turn the station before they say the title, if they ever mention it.
Great!!!!
+ Born To Be Wild
This is the closest to studio track as it gets ive seen on here
😍
❤
A Steppenwolf classic well done by the brits band of Cult (ex Southern Death Cult)...
Les Warner was always the best Cult drummer IMO
No, Mark B, Nigel P & Ray Mondo (if you include Death Cult) were much better than Les....almost right though, well done!
This is brilliant!!! Was this just released? Had not seen this one.
'Oh yeah... shit...'
Aquí: La maquinaria ácida y psicodélica de The Cult, excelente!
Acid and psychedelic machinery
Goth met new wave met punk met glam met metal on this rockstage

I was 13 sneaking out of my bedroom window to go to a Cult/Billy Idol show. I got busted and grounded for like a year. It was SO WORTH it.
where was it?
I went to that show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome story! You're one of the originals
I saw the same tour. Cult/Idol at the Montreal Forum. The Cult blew away Idol. 3 rows from the stage standing on the chairs. 80s Rock and Roll ❤
16 and FY what a tour!!
