Kirsty created "the first zombie" by resurrecting Zylus, who then became obsessed with the concept of resurrection and created zombies. It makes perfect sense! 😆
The first randomat isn't broken at all. It takes 5 shots to kill the detective while it only takes 1 shot to kill the traitor or jester. It's so the detective doesn't instantly lose and can actually try and figure out which of the 5 people shooting him is the traitor instead of being a jester.
ikr, it's a fair game mode for jesters, idk why Duncan thought that everyone shouldve been able to do damage and that jesters won't win... cos the detective could just as easily 1 shot a jester as he could a traitor n let a jester win
Duncan as oblivious as always - those weren't the duel guns, those were regular one shot pistols, and the randomat was just a westified version of one traitor, one detective and all jesters XD
Thank you for time-stamping this. I've watched it multiple times and it is an absolute delight! Them talking about how great it was at 5:15 makes it so fantastic to jump back to.
10:57 Duncan buys crack from Garfield in a Speedo, then Lewis murders Ben in a horrific stagger accident with the traitor trap, and then Duncan’s point blank on Zylus just made this round so brutal 😂
I believe Kirsty is fully justified in rezzing Zylus in that final round, nobody ever checks bodies and it's so much hassle whenever someone wants a body to be checked. Even when the person literally dies in front of the detective
@@VeryPeeved and every time someone wants a body to be checked they'll ping it (maybe) and then the detective might follow the ping to check the body but even then there's a chance that they ping it and then pick it up to try and go find the detective and so when the detective arrives there's no body because the person ran off with it, and then even if they do try and check the body if the person had credits on them there's a chance they just pick up the credits and don't check the body
@CuriousMoth they weren't the duel guns they were one shot pistols, thats why when zylus shot Lewis he just died and a duel wasn't initiated. There used to be a randomat that was the exact same, all jesters except one detective and one traitor, except without the one shot pistols.
It would only work if the jesters actually tried shooting as well. Otherwise the detective has to just wait til traitor reveals, and at point, the detective is dead
There's so many compilations of "best plays" or "pro plays", and some are genuinely good, but many of them involve the other party either making a misplay or just being an unsuspecting victim to the play. This one, however stands head and shoulders above all those, because both people involved were playing their asses off, and Lewis genuinely only won because he was just that last bit more well prepared than Ravs.
You mean Pokémon hasn't always been a deeply disturbing horror narrative about a society where school age children imprison sentient eldritch beings in tiny, futuristic metal capsules for use in gladiatorial blood sport? Or am I overthinking this title?
the traitors seem to be a bit over powered now with their mario mega health for damage mitigation, the paper plane to seek out glitches and for people out of rooms since they already have medkits, juggernogs and redmatter bombs to cover those areas. best example of it is with the low grav round where once it was ravs vs two traitors he was guaranteed to lose due to those factors
@@PanSpaceman the resources to make up for them having to blend in and be at a lower count if fine and all but when it comes at the ability to immediately snuff out a role (glitch) cause you need to figure out who it is or force someone out of hiding and immediately make yourself unkillable feels too much like a swing in power especially when things like the previous mentioned red matter and heal kits (med packs and juggernog) exist. one shot items like doncannon and that are fine but when the weapons are "too good" it makes certain functions a generic innocent (basically any non traitor role that doesn't have a shop) useless and they may as well be fodder and if it comes down to a fight (referring to the ravs situation) the round may as well automatically end as he cant at least to attempt to be savvy and either shoot well or make it difficult for them to one shot him. im mostly commenting on how it feels like lately since these items seem to make certain roles/playstyles obsolete
@@odditiescollector4540 you can still consider it tactically fair though. Paper planes don't automatically hunt down glitches nor are they instant kills. Lewis' method here is doable because he had those credits saved up but still didn't guarantee a win.
is the first round variant meant to be sorta russian roulette for the detective? the traitor can't initiate the duel, and the detective doesn't know who to shoot safely, both have to pay attention in case the duel actually gets initiated, so the other one doesn't get the draw off... or something. seems high stakes, but a bit limited and not that fun for the jesters... but these guys have managed to make other seeming duds into fun rounds, so what do i know...

I love how Lewis, after killing Ben with the falling car, called out that he was dead TWICE, just to confirm for all of us that the Yogscast never listens.
That first Randomat really doesn't work - the traitor risks nothing shooting at the detective, being that they know who the detective is, and who the jesters are, and the detective risks everything.

It's subtly hilarious how they've fallen in love with the noscope gun, but insist on using only the absolute minimum mouse sensitivity.
