Nowt worse Alex than when your fan is seized, A great video Alex and it cheered me up. My beautiful old lady cat Miss Trudy died in my arms on Tuesday aged just short of 16 and I am devastated.. need distraction and your videos do it
I love your 2 door Allegro. I had a citron green Allegro Super, that I called "The Green Bogey" the most reliable car I have had pleasure of owning. Alas I sold it on when I purchased a 1963 Humber Hawk Series 3, 17RHU. The number plate is now on a Porsche of some description. Hope your small finger mends.
Hope your hand heals up soon x Alex.) I also own & drive several classic car's including a 1970 Rover P5B. I'm currently trying to buy back a 1979 T reg facelift Morris marina 1:3 estate in red. That i originally owned in 1990 ) after discovering It's still in existence" I managed to track it down recently and I'm surprised how well, it's kept although having spent long periods off the road at diff periods, In warm dry storage has helped.
When you said your finger will take four to six weeks to heal my immediate thoughts were somebody else will have to wrap your Christmas presents for you. A few less secrets!
I broke my little finger while playing basketball at school ( 50 + yrs ago ) and all they did was the exact same thing as you and taped the 2 fingers together, no anti biotics, no follow up visit just said keep it like that for 2 weeks , much simpler times .
Do u really drive a Morris marina if so why couldn't u get a mk three cortina or a mk one cavalier they may not be Cadillacs but they are whole orders of magnitude better than the Morris marina be careful I see Jeremy Clarkson walking down the street 😅
@@AlexsassetsAll the 1.8 needs is the manifold and carbs from a MGBGT, mild race cam, kingpins tightened and greased and they’ll give a cortina a run for their money . Admittedly Ford made it easy to upgrade cars up to mid 80s with all their various specs . BL were still stuck with the idea that each brand was exclusive and not a lot was shared when the marina was launched. So Morris was stodgy family car,Triumph sporting cars, Jaguar luxury , MG really only had the MGB which was in production for too long. Should have been replaced mid 70s, not dragged into the mid 80s. Mini was again a car that was dragged on too long.
Nice effort Alex with one hand, hope it heals quick.
Well done Alex I wouldn't have thought the fan was seized. Good deduction and well done for doing it all with one hand 🖐️
If there were no other cars in your street Alex apart from yours, you would think you'd gone back in time. 😊

With a bit of research you could probably find a standard replacement fan bearing from a supplier…..
Why spend money and time when I have one in an old Rover fan 😁 .

Ford parts are too expensive and open to theft.
Vauxhall make me puke (unless it's a lovely cresta) .
